I came to this campground while avoiding Hurricane Erma. I did not go in bath houses or try to do laundry. It had pull through lots and was quiet for the two days I stayed. I planned on staying 4 nights but as winds were quiet severe and the storm had not even got to Florida and it kept moving West getting closer to Alabama and Mobile was already under tornado watches, so I decided I had better leave. Office staff will not refund you any nights regardless of you fearing being blown away by severe storms that appeared to be heading that way. I would suggest only paying for a night at a time if you are running from a storm so that you don't end up leaving and loosing your money. I thought they were totally unreasonable with a storm of that magnitude coming.
GREAT WI-FI, level site! we stayed here early April 2016, this is a great 'home base' for site-seeing the surrounding areas!
5 stars on everything BUT the toilets: (3 star)they are close to the wall and uncomfortable to use, but we normally use the one in our motor home. Bathrooms were being cleaned when I used them...do not know about vents or shower. Staff we met were friendly and seemed glad we were there!
We will stay here again if we are in the area.
Very clean restrooms. Quiet place. Managers were very nice. Rates were great. We stayed on cement slab pull thru. Got stuck there for 2 days due to Hurricane storms. I'll stay here again. Close to stores and a truck stop that has a trailer repair business.
There was a tree so close we couldn't open the awning. The pad was pretty level. The restrooms were horrible. The floors were dirty, no working ventilation fan in any shower room, stools so close to wall with paper holder out so far from the wall your side hit it. And I'm only 170 pounds so it's not because I'm fat! Worst restroom/showers we've had yet. the manager was nice and accommodating tho.
