We don’t use the restroom facilities and we don’t sit around the campground all day long. Typically we park our camper and go hiking. Having said that this campground is conveniently located to many local attractions including Dinosaur National Monument. All the sites have mature broadleaf trees that shade them. Very nice in the extremely hot temperatures. Blake and Dennis were wonderful hosts. Blake is extremely enthusiastic and gave us a lot of tips for local attractions. I recommend this campground... This campground is conveniently located, however it is very cramped. Spots are extremely close together. Other than that is is clean and taken care of. The person in the office was very pleasant and helpful. If you just need a centrally located place to park, this is it.

We loved this quiet campground! It was clean, had lots of shade, and the attendant was very friendly and helpful. It’s located right in the middle of town, yet close enough to all the Dino activities we had planned. Would definitely stay here again!

A hidden forest in a desert. Mature trees lined the entire park with grass separations that were well maintained. easy access to the sites. Family staff were all friendly and helpful. Owner came around each day to ensure we were happy with the park and to see if there was anything they could do to make things even better. Felt more like visiting family and not so much a campground. Location was the best for visiting sites, attractions, museums and restaurants. A full service supermarket was... Read More

Biggest trees in town right in this park. Priced very nice for the area, close to everything, short drive to Dinosaur National Monument. was outstanding getting us signed in & to our spot. Oct is a little slower so he put new arrivals away from others to give everyone privacy. There is no dog park, but lots of room to walk them. Spaces were large easy pull through. Wi Fi was good. Smiths grocery is right across the street. Showers were very clean, but coin operated.

Stayed here on our trip home. Nice place. Lots of shade trees, grass in-between the sites, nice and clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again!

This is a very nice campground with very large shade trees. The owner is very nice and the rates are reasonable. It is quiet, sitting off a little ways from the main drag, with only minimal noise from the main street. Paved interior roads with level stone gravel pads. In the middle of town close to restaurants and some attractions. Full hookups and if you have Direct or Dish, sites 35 thru 37 seem to work the best. Nice grass between sites, trust me, stay here.....

Great folks. Very helpful in giving us ideas and information on the area places to go and see. The park is very well maintained and we will return when we come back that way!

Finding this haven of trees in the city of Vernal was a treat. The office blocks the noise from the street so you are isolated. The owner took care of every site as campers changed, the restroom and laundry were very clean. He provided recommendations on attractions with accurate descriptions which we can confirm. Our dog was welcomed and safe. There was even grass between the camp sites. Not having a pool was not a problem for us but is the reason I rated the facility as a 4 because a lot... Read More

Our dog was welcomed and safe. There was even grass between the camp sites. Not having a pool was not a problem for us but is the reason I rated the facility as a 4 because a lot of campers might want it. Our pull thru site was easy to manage with a picnic table for every spacious site.
