Appeal Rating Small municipal park close to Fredricksburg. Very pretty park area. Adjacent to the municipal airport so some plane noise but not terrible or incessant. Our spot was up on top near the entrance right next to the airport and I wasn't wild about it but the spots deeper into the park were nicer and much more shaded. Bathrooms were clean and staff was very nice. I would stay here again for a weekend visit.

Appeal Rating This is a city park near the small destination city of Fredericksburg, TX. I have stayed here three times, always at the end of April. Overall it's a nice park, relaxing and peaceful, with occupants who are friendly and respectful neighbors. Since it lies within a city park, it has lots of amenities: swimming pool (generally open only during summer school vacation), tennis, golf course, beautiful small pollinator garden, and it is well maintained. It offers full hookups, along with free cable and WiFi – though some reviews say the WiFi is weak. Spaces are adequate to generous, and restrooms and showers are clean. Oddly, for a park with so many amenities, there are no grills or fire rings. There are lots of trees but the canopy is sparse, so many sites are exposed to the Texas sun. The park is adjacent to the city airport, so there is some plane noise, though none - in my experience - after dark. I have no second thoughts about recommending this park for a sojourn in the Hill Country of Texas. The cost is $40 per night.

Very nice park. Lots of shade, large sites. Pool, tennis courts, golf course, etc. Small private airport next door, but no noise issues after dark. Well maintained.

Appeal Rating This is a great park. Lots of shade, clean restrooms (nothing fancy) and full hookups. Easy in and out. Staff is accommodating. No CCards accepted. Cash or Check. Best part is the park is close to Fredericksburg where there are so many things to see and do. Municipal golf course right next door and beautiful municipal swimming pool.
