Beautiful!! We arrived in mid-June, with our little dog. The weather was a little more humid than usual with several small storms moving through. The grounds are lovely with large sites. We had a pull-through with trees on both sides for shade and each site has a picnic table. Gorgeous old oak trees are all around. The wildlife we observed did not seem overly fearful of people and did a fantastic job of entertaining us. We also loved the 2 donkeys and 2 Longhorns we visited with on our walk... Read More

We also loved the 2 donkeys and 2 Longhorns we visited with on our walk to and from the Medina River. We enjoyed our walks around the park, but did have to be careful of stickers. I had to do laundry twice during our stay and found the laundry room (1 of 2) spotless with 4 washers, 4 dryers, 2 wonderful folding tables and even an iron and ironing board. But the best part was the large library with a great sitting room with lots of jigsaw puzzles and tables to use, a tv and a couple of exercise bikes. A nice way to wait for your laundry to finish. The new wifi was amazing!! I had wifi service all over the park. No problems at all. We had a wonderful time exploring the area of Bandera, Bourne and Fredericksburg. The owners are fabulous and make everyone feel welcome. We will definitely be back

This is a WONDERFUL placeto stay. We were winter Texans here, Nov. - march 2017. The property is a GEM. A nice walk to teh river and another one to the front and around. Hosts were great and price was more than right. BIG spaces and plenty of room between sites.would absolutely stay here again.Just one blip being corrected currently: WiFi was better termed WOE FI. Terrible and a pain to use with a kick off every hoiur and poor bandwidth. They were installing Fiber Optic when we left and I hope... Read More

I would have given this park 5 stars had it not been for all the stickers/grass burrs on our site. We could not walk outside without our shoes getting embedded with them and our poor Cocker Spaniel could not even walk. We would have to carry her to the road to do her business, it was pitiful! Other than that, it is a wonderful park with large spaces and a beautiful walk down to the river. We were at the back section of the park, so we did not have a problem with any noise from the highway. The... Read More

The only other downfall was that their wifi was very poor and could not access the internet unless I used the data from my phone. That is not a major concern though because many parks that we stay in advertise free wifi, but have very poor access.

We had a very pleasant stay. The site was roomy and quite, they had us under a huge oak tree. With a little adjusting we had satellite reception. Staff was very nice. Very close to Bandera. There was a lot of deer wandering around and the road down to the river is a nice walk.
