the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
We booked for a month and had a beautiful site on the water. Sites are huge, we have a 38' motorhome and tow a 24' trailer with a golf cart and jeep and parked everything on our site and it was great.
All the staff was really helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and could always recommend fun things to see and do.
Pretty social park which we liked & our dog loved dock diving down at the boat launch and going to the little beach areas.
The park is spotless and pool area is really pretty.
Stayed here one night, but even after 40 years in IT, I could not make the Public WiFi work. Besides, their policy is that only 2 hours per device is free. When you try to log in, you see jillions of seasonal residents with their private broadbands set up hogging all the bandwidth. So, this RV park was not worth it to me.
People at the front desk were nice and the pull-thru site I stayed at was graveled. I walked to the London Bridge and there appears to be lots to do it town. This RV resort is building a restaurant; none near by. Summary, not a good value for short-visits. Long-time residents tend to be clickish and appear unfriendly.
I loved staying here! This RV grounds has a lot of rules, but it is a huge place and the rules function to keep things great for everyone. The sites are level, with a picnic table at every site. The sites are doubled, so people can keep their water craft or dune buggies next to their RV. Bathrooms are spotless and nicely tiled. The front office was a real source of info for things going on in Lake Havasu city and just generally helpful. I had a problem with the electrical supply when I first pulled in and 2 maintenance guys were there to help me before I even hung up my phone from calling the front office. The only problem for me was the heat. I'll visit again, but only in autumn or winter.
We have been going to the Islander from the time it first opened. It is the only place we stay in Havasu. I have been going to Havasu since the early sixties. Started out with truck and camper and ended up with a diesel pusher in our retirement. We continue to stay at the Islander because of the staff and their facilities which are always spotlessly clean, also because of their enforcement of the park's rules keeping it an enjoyable experience for everyone. Their launch ramp located within the resort makes it very convenient for launching multiple water craft, like PWCs and a Pontoon boat. They have some great waterfront spaces that we always try to get. Great place for friends and family to stay and play together.
