This campground is close to downtown Asheville and all of the area's points or interest. There is easy access off of I-40. The camping sites are level concrete pads with full hookups. Most sites are long enough for the RV only, and tow vehicles and toads have to park on the road. The interior roads are gravel and often in need of repair. Internet service is good. The campground has been sold. It was originally scheduled to close on 10 May 2018, but a change in the contract resulted in the park being open through 20 June 2018. The new owner plans to convert the campground into a "glamping park", so being able to camp here in the future is unknown.

Entire place was quite rundown and not appealing. It was not an overnight place ; most campers appeared to be long term. Difficult to locate and very noisy. Manager was friendly. Pricey for quality.
