Very good campground with easily navigated paved roads. Pads are concrete with gravel area. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, grill and lamp pole. Catoma loop has FHU. Roads are good for walking. We were in site 18.

We carried our twin grandsons, age 3, with us for a 3 day camping trip to Gunter Hill. So many places we have stayed have too much traffic to really enjoy riding bikes and to allow our grandsons to ride their riding toys. Not the case here...We stayed in the Catoma loop which has full hookups including sewer. The roads are newly paved and in great condition. Great for riding bikes and walking. Sites are very large and private. Good bath and shower facilities. There were 2 parks that our grandsons... Read More

Picnic table furnished as well as fire ring. Can't wait to stay here again.

Corps of Engineers Campground. Great facilities. New loop has excellent roads, huge sites and FHU. Pretty good privacy. Lakefront lots are excellent. Highly recommend advance reservations. The reservation system will not let you make a reservation within 24 hours of arrival - need to make them a couple of days in advance.

Another wonderful COE park. The newer loop is full service with very large concrete pads. Many sites are lakefront.

A Corp of Engineers park, very well maintained, there are two loops . .one is older, the other recently (2012) renovated. Electric, Water and Sewer on the newer Catoma Loop. Sites are on large concrete slabs and well spaced for privacy. Older side, Antioch Loop, has Electric, Water and a dump station. Sites are gravel and well shaded.
