This is a snow bird destination near Palm Springs, CA. They have mostly permanent manufactured homes with some sites open for RVs. The park has terrific facilities with a large clubhouse, mineral pools, spas, mineral showers, sauna, etc. The bathrooms and showers are spotlessly clean. There is WiFi included that we found to be responsive and reliable. They sponsor many activities for the residents and visitors. There is a very nice nine hole, par 3 golf course within the park. There is WiFi included that we found to be responsive and reliable. They sponsor many activities for the residents and visitors. There is a very nice nine hole, par 3 golf course within the park. The RV site was nothing special, just an open dirt/gritty gravel surface area with a concrete patio. There is no picnic table or fire pit. The site was very deep with plenty of room for our motorhome and car to park. There were full hookups with 50amp electric, sewer and water. Oddly, there is a single location near the entrance where you must take your trash. The park is a bit isolated in that you must go 6 miles for any shopping but about double that for any real selection. As a first time guest, we got a 20% discount on the weekly rate. Otherwise, it's a little bit costly. We paid a discounted rate of $280 per week.

We just returned from our trip to Palm Springs, staying at Caliente Springs Resort. Overall the stay was good, the facilities are nice, the location for us was not the best, about 20 minutes to downtown Palm Springs. The facilities are clean but not exactly pet friendly, pets are not allowed on any grass locations except a small patch in a small dog park. If we were older, I'm 55 we might have liked it more. If you are in an RV you are pretty much left to your own, the main focus seems to be on... Read More

If you are in an RV you are pretty much left to your own, the main focus seems to be on those that own vacation homes on the property, which is not to say you couldn't be involved in all the programs they offer. Don't expect level RV sites, all are sand with small concrete "patios", no tables and no garbage cans on or near the sites. We will be cleaning sand out of the RV and our gear for months. I would stay here again but I think I will wait until I'm a bit older. In the future we will look for a location closer to Palm Springs with a bit more age diversity and a little less wind (not that they have control over the weather). If you are 70 or older this is probably a great place to stay, but part of RV travel is live and learn. Overall it was clean and safe and they had a lot to offer, just not for us. We should have done a bit better research, our fault not theirs.
