What is being rated?
5 5 out of 5 stars 04/06/2018

I am not sure why the average rating is 3 but I found this place to be a well maintained and clean campsite. We were only here one night so we couldn't take in all the sights but there are a number of them in the area. The staff especially Stacey were terrific. I would defiantly stay here again.

I had made a reservation for a full H/U site for one night. This was the Labor Day weekend so it was nice of them to allow a single night. We were pulling a 14' utility trailer with our 26' C-class so needed a long site so we would not need to unhook. All went well until we arrived to find we did not have a full H/U site which we wanted since we had a week of no sewer ahead of us on our New England trip. The staff clearly thought I was wrong about the site & could not accept they might have made an error. The drive to this CG is long & winding so we were not about to go elsewhere. In general: LOTS of kid/family activities including a pond for fishing, walking/bike riding, playground, pool. Nicely maintained as most KOA's are in our experience. Not a great stop for a single overnite.
