Overall, the campground was clean and quiet. The restrooms, while rather spartan, were very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Some sites were very close together and some could be difficult to maneuver into. The Desert of Maine which is right next to the CG is cool for a ‘slice of Americana’ type of attraction. The location is great for trips to Bradbury State Park, Portland breweries and Freeport.
