Great place to stay during the Christmas season! We were in a back-in with full hook-up. The bus shuttled us to Kings Dominion and there wasn't any wait time when we returned. We also visited the Illuminate Light Show and Santa Village The Meadow Event Park. Please remember this campground is near railroads so bring a white noise machine or ask to be closer to the front. I'd also like the mention that they made sure the garbage was picked up constantly. We were there five days and it was never... Read More

The campground is okay, but we have a 44 foot toy hauler & specifically asked if they had a site big enough NOT to unhook the truck since we were only staying 1 night. They were happy to take our money & said all their sites were 60 feet, but our 44 foot toy hauler hangs over the site without the truck! NOT a very happy camper!!!

Stayed for 4 days in a full hook-up pull thru site. We were super close to the main entrance/store/pool and it was very convenient especially for the shuttle to the park. Btw, we found the shuttles to be great!! We never waited longer than 10/15 mins (usually less) and it was really quick even when stopping at the other partner hotels. The drivers were great too! The lights (around the store and pool area) were really bright at night and since we were facing that way and so close - it was... Read More

We were VERY close to the camper next to us, were we hooked up, we kept our shades down on that side. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers were nice and modern - There just didn't seem to be very many. The bathroom by the pool only had one but there was another bathhouse further in the campground. The pool was pretty big and clean with a lifeguard on duty. The staff was very nice, everyone was friendly and we really enjoyed Kings Dominion and Soak City!

Campground was well maintained, clean, and well landscaped. Campsites were reasonable flat, and full hook ups were easy to connect up. Cable TV was nice and provided good viewing. The staff were helpful and provided an escort to view the camping areas for our Club. Store is stocked with an ice cream parlor, common room with TV, and provides a nice "front porch" with rocking chairs. Roads are well maintained. Transportation is provided if you want to attend Kings Dominion park. I would stay... Read More
