First I registered online and paid online for a Wednesday arrival and when we showed up the office is closed on Wednesday, if it wasn't a permanent camper calling the manager on their cellphone we would have left. The second we reserved a pull thru with grass, because we have dogs, well the site we booked the week before, they let another camper extend their stay in our site and the only thing they have left was pull thru with all gravel on a slope. Third the men's room by the pool had poo on the... Read More

First I registered online and paid online for a Wednesday arrival and when we showed up the office is closed on Wednesday, if it wasn't a permanent camper calling the manager on their cellphone we would have left. The second we reserved a pull thru with grass, because we have dogs, well the site we booked the week before, they let another camper extend their stay in our site and the only thing they have left was pull thru with all gravel on a slope. Third the men's room by the pool had poo on the stall floor and it doesn't like it been cleaned for awhile. The dog park had dog poo and hair all over it and very small and no doggie bags to clean up. Do yourself a big favor and camp someplace else and save your money. Walmart would have been a better choice. I would have given negative stars if they would allow.

We were charged twice as much because of it being labor day weekend even though when I called I specifically said we were looking for a place for only one night. There was only a few transient sites and we were given a small site when larger ones that would have worked for us were available (only 3 sites occupied) The electrical connection was not working properly so unable to run ac. The ladies at the front desk did recommend the Taste of Hamburg Festival in nearby Hamburg which was a lot of... Read More
