We stopped here for a couple of day layover on our way to New York. The park is inexpensive, however, bring cash as that is the only form of payment allowed. The park has a fair number of seasonal campers, with some of the sites not very well maintained. Only 30 service is available. The site we camped in was very nice, with large area for us to enjoy. Initially we had problem with maintaining electricity as the circuit breakers needed to be replaced due to age. The park is just off I 95,... Read More

Conveniently located near Kinnebunk and Kinnebunkport. The park met our needs, but we will not return.

For 7 to 15 days each year, we have camped here, since 1984. The restrooms are very basic but CLEAN, checked 5x/day. The campground is quiet, located within 2 to 3 miles of a 70 acre (wooded) town park, white sandy ocean beaches, harbor (offering kayak and jet ski rentals), mini-golf, outlet stores, restaurants, Yodeling Clam Lobster Take Out (steamed) and entertainment venues for kids thru seniors. With so many nearby attractions, this campground offers only basic amenities, giving one a quiet... Read More

With so many nearby attractions, this campground offers only basic amenities, giving one a quiet place to rest after a full day of fun. Basic wooden playground and field for kids/teens to use. Friendly and accommodating staff and campers, lead to the making of new friends from various states and Canada. Each summer, we look fwd to spending quality time with our NH and New Brunswick friends. Our 2 Australian Shepherd dogs get beach playtime at 7 a.m. We kayak in the harbor at high tide. Dogs get a park walk (on marked trails that follow a meandering river) in the woods as well as at Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge. Well behaved, socialized dogs who are cleaned up after are welcome. Barkers are not. Never is a dog to be left unattended in a camper or outdoors. Many different types of sites: shaded, sunny, small, large, pull throughs. Scenic. Level. Many of the sites offer cable tv, which you will be charged for even if you do not use the service at that site. Located within 1/4 mile of the Wells exit ramp off of I-95. Some sites have slight road noise. Trolley delivers you to the beaches, if desired. No swimming pool. Rec Room with games and wi-fi. Electronic security gate. Only those with cards may enter.

Close to the ocean and at a considerably less cost than most other campgrounds in the area. Quiet little hide away. Very friendly and helpful people too.
