The park is a dirt parking lot. No trees. The sites say they accommodate Big Rigs, but that is not true. You have to unhook or you will be hanging out. The park is located in a sketchy neighborhood of run down homes with a one or two decent ones. The pool had no water in it. The office was sparce of items for sale. Bathrooms were clean, but dated. This campground is only good for a stop over. We will defiantly look for somewhere else to stay when passing through.

Traveling full-time in a 42-foot coach we have stayed in over 400 RV Parks. We stayed at KOA Lordsburg for one-night during December, 2019. When we arrived at KOA Lordsburg it was during the middle of a downpour and the entire park was covered in water. Our pull-in site was located smack in the middle of a growing lake. This huge pond was at least an inch deep and surrounded our electric box. Hubby waded-out into the midst of the ankle deep water, located some rocks and boards which he used to... Read More

This huge pond was at least an inch deep and surrounded our electric box. Hubby waded-out into the midst of the ankle deep water, located some rocks and boards which he used to stand on while hooking-up to the electric box. He couldn't hook-up our sewer line as the connection was located underwater. We called the front desk inquiring if they had additional boards we could use and was informed the weather forecast predicted the rain would stop soon, the water would rapidly recede, and all water would be gone by morning. Apparently having the RV park transform into a lake was a common occurrence. The weather forecast turned-out to be accurate as the rain did stop shortly after and the water did recede as promised...leaving behind a gravel/muddy site and muddy park. Walking the dog involved finding a raised patch of ground and resulted in a very muddy dog. This RV park definitely needs improving starting with better drainage and concrete pads with raised electric boxes. Perhaps when it doesn't rain this is a great place to stay. Unfortunately, our experience wasn't so fantastic.

OK (barely) for overnight stay just off I-10. Big rig friendly. Clean and well maintained. All gravel roads and sites. Don't trust your GPS to guide you to the entrance - go south from the I-10 Lordsburg exit, then turn right (west) at the first intersection (at abandoned gas station). There is a small KOA sign but we missed it. Not a particularly scenic area.

Contrary to previous reviewers we found this campground a very good overnight stay. It was easy to find. The staff was friendly and efficient. Check in was easy. We had reserved two days but due to a personal need we could only stay one day. They had no problem with that and charged us for one day after we arrived. The campground is neat and clean. Remember it is in the desert. The dog run is small but adequate. We would stay there again.

We called ahead to reserve a spot. We were told we may or may not have space because there were lots of people traveling. It was a rude, rude, rude telephone conversation. It was so windy we felt like we had to get off the highway or we would not have stayed there. I can't believe this man is still in business. Upon arrival, sweet lady checked us in. The rude man sat behind her making rude comments and grunting noises! They tell us he's the owner. KOA should be ashamed.

RVer BEWARE. This place will charge your credit card 4 days prior to arrival. It is hard to get to and management is unfriendly. There is a language barrier to boot. We will never return!

Sites were nice and park was neat and clean. Pet area was not very desireable. No fenced area, all dirt and very small section. Was disappointed to find we could not tour the local Ghost Town without advance appointment.
