We have family in Kenosha and we try to visit every summer. The challenge for this area is limited choice. There’s a state CG in Racine but the drive to Kenosha is a pain. There’s no sewer hook-up so after 3-4 days max you have to unhook and go to the dump station. The sites are all gravel with slope so you may experience leveling problems. No cable and the WiFi is below average. All services are Ala Carte and $18 for our kids car, when they visited, is BS! The dog park is small and people do not... Read More

The staff are friendly but clueless on directions into the camp. We tried to buy firewood but we’re told there was a burn ban. However, walking our dog at night there were numerous campsites with fires going. This place needs a ton of attention. And to make matters worse, the Kenosha roads are all under summer repair. Giving this place 2 stars over all is a real stretch!

I stayed here many years ago. So now after camping for awhile and seeing other resorts, I have formed new opinions. They have a captive audience, because not many (if any) campgrounds in this area. The nearest are state parks, which are limited in services. There are no sewer or cable connections on any sites. VERY limited WiFi, that my tablet couldn't make a connection and I am 100' from office. All services are ala carts. Guests visiting are $7.50, showers are $.25 for 9 minutes. Checked... Read More

Checked in yesterday and laundry was closed early at 4pm. Normally open until 7pm. We paid $55 per night for a 50amp site. Only site available, due to a special event here. The staff is nice enough and let me switch sites, when person next to us checked out. Our site is big enough, but wish gravel pad was wider, but it is sloped away from RV, so last step is till 1' to ground. Again, place is OK, people are nice, but place is a bit outdated and expensive for amenities you get. BUT.... no place within 30 miles that is not a state campground with only electricity. Will have to unhook in order to dump our grey and black after 3-4 days. They do have a honey wagon for $17.50.

A ways off the beaten path. More of a wildlife petting zoo with amenities. No sewer dump but has water and elec. Grassy pull throughs somewhat level. Lots of tenters and small campers with fires. Pool was open. Prices seem a bit high for what is here.
