THE WORSE reservation system in the country. They do not return calls and their website takes as much as 20 minutes to access. Nice park, VERY large and shaded. Sites are close together. there is some noise, but well worth staying here.

We spent a total of 4 nights at this campground. The lot was shady and level. I was able to get a pull through site. The site had full hookups including both 30 amp and 50 amp service. The campground has beach access as well as a lake. The lots are not paved so sand is an issue. There is not much lighting at night and the roads are narrow, so best to arrive during daylight if possible. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did no use the restrooms. They have a small store and they... Read More

They have a small store and they do sell propane. Overall it was not a bad experience. It would be great if the city would invest a little to pave the lots, put up some lights and improve the bath houses. Just a little bit of effort could make this park a real jewel.

We stayed here because it is close to where our children live. This is a beautiful park with lots of trees. Campground is very old. All bath houses need to be totally redone. Showers are old, broken tile, dividers falling apart and full of mold. We did Not use. Some sites are very unlevel. They have a small well stocked store with fire wood and ice. The best part about this park is it's on the beach. The campground is only a short walk away or you can drive over, there is plenty of parking. We would... Read More

This city campground was a gem if you like a rural feel and want full hookups. Our site was surrounded by trees and felt relatively private. Yet, we were walking distance from the beach. There were bike and hiking trails.

Found this park to be VERY secure, as well as easily accessible, and close to Atlantic. Highly recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive RV park with GREAT ocean access and very quiet and relaxing.

City owned park that is well maintained, right up to the campground entrance. Looks like campground was the victim of budget cuts. Limbs down, worn looking, camp store looks abandoned, laundry was removed and plumbing left hanging from wall. Volunteers doing a great job of attending to what they can, but the place needs influx of money. Entry gate was broken the entire time we were there. Should of had suspicions when I saw the strip club at the entry to the park.
