Most old campgrounds are nice if taken care of, and we all know this. We can accept any shortcomings, because they are still well maintained. In the case of Angler’s Roost, in Hamilton, Montana, the new ownership, in my opinion, has let this place fall apart. They are way overpriced for the facility. The grounds are not maintained, some connections are coming apart and caution should be taken, the buildings are in decay, and last but not least, the restroom/showers are more outdated and in need... Most old campgrounds are nice if taken care of, and we all know this. We can accept any shortcomings, because they are still well maintained. In the case of Angler’s Roost, in Hamilton, Montana, the new ownership, in my opinion, has let this place fall apart. They are way overpriced for the facility. The grounds are not maintained, some connections are coming apart and caution should be taken, the buildings are in decay, and last but not least, the restroom/showers are more outdated and in need of a thorough or complete remodel. I was so discussed that I asked to leave a day early out of two, and even though they refused to refund the extra day, it was so bad, I left even without a refund. This is one of the worst places I have ever been in all the years of camping… If you go, you will see for yourself, but I would not recommend it or even bother. Steve
