PROS: 1-Staff are accommodating and pleasant to work with. 2-There is a small store on site to fill small needs. 3-There is a small decent swimming pool and playground. CONS: 1-The RV sites are less than stellar. Very unlevel gravel on the East side of the park. 2-There were no threaded ports on sewage connections. Just heavy metal caps. This resulted in most of the park smelling foul. 3-If you book online be prepared to wait. They seem to be having issues with their booking system. 4-WiFi... Read More

Stopped here coming back from Idaho, surprised to find the park at the edge of the interstate (so noisy) and right next door to a large RV sales facility. The site wasn't level and had not been maintained in a long time. Facilities were functional but spread out so had cords and hoses running all over the place. As with many parks today, had some long term residents that make the place trashy looking (owners don't care??) Worked well for what I needed, but would not return, not good value for my... Staff was pleasant and helpful, the office facilities are dated and not maintained, but it seems all parks don't put enough effort into maintenance these days. Didn't use the restrooms so didn't rate them.

I was a little apprehensive about the park, as the reviews are all negative. But it was very convenient to get to, so we gave it a try. I can say that the office area does need some updates, but other than that, my wife and I both enjoyed our stay. My pull-through site was wide enough and had a nice lawn area complete with a grill and picnic table already placed. Contrary to other reviews, we only stayed a couple nights and had full hookups. I saw several other rigs come in for only a night or... Read More

I saw several other rigs come in for only a night or two and also had full hookups. My site was sloped forward, but it wasn't hard to get my travel trailer leveled out. The other half of the park looks to be quite level. The swimming pool and patio area were centrally located and not overly crowded. There is a nice public park located literally right across the quiet access road, so grab your dog and go for a walk by the pond. My wife also noticed an athletic young groundskeeper, but that's neither here nor there. There are washers and dryers on site for laundry, and the restrooms are spacious and adequate. The store could use a few more items, but hey, that's what Walmart is for. They also have propane available, which is nice. As full time RVers, we have seen nicer parks. But honestly, we've seen a lot worse. Solid 4 out of 5 stars.

Have stayed in far better Good Sam campgrounds. Spaces were very narrow and very close to I-70.

The reason we chose Trailside RV was because it had a rating of 9.5. What a disappointment, the rating should have been more like 3.5. I have for sure lost all faith in the Good Sam ratings. I should have read the five reviews prior to choosing this Park. The items mentioned in the five ratings are accurate, so I won't repeat them. The check in was disastrous, the sites were narrow, the site was not level to the point were the front tire was lifted off the ground to level the motor home, the... Read More

The check in was disastrous, the sites were narrow, the site was not level to the point were the front tire was lifted off the ground to level the motor home, the wifi would go blank every minute making it impossible to use and the picnic table was in very bad shape and would collapse if leaned on. We arrived about 4 pm and noted that no other RV arrived during the evening - I guess they read the reviews......

At check in they made my wife read a two page list of rules and then sign before we could check in. The gravel roads are terrible, potholes and metal stakes poking out real close on the tight corners. No onsite sewer for transients, just a dump station over on the permanent party side, lots of shady looking characters on that side. This park broke our faith in the ratings of Good Sam and we spent the rest of our trip staying at KOA's; we're not members but they always took great care of us.

This RV park has terrible roads with lots of potholes on the way to the dump station. Showers in restroom were very hard to adjust temperature of water. Benches in shower stalls were all rusted. The traffic noise was very loud from the Interstate Highway. The store part of this RV park was not really stocked well at all. Looks like it was going out of business. The person who checked us in was very nice & the park has lots of trees, which were very pretty.

When we reserved we ask for full hook-up, was assigned a spot with no sewer. Park was dirty, dusty, RV's very close together. My pull through had my front on edge of drive & my tow hanging out the back(38' class a with small RV) very over rated park.

When I registered by phone I requested and was told that my site had full hookups but when I arrived it was water & electric only. Site was misrepresented and by the time I checked in it was too late to change plans. VERY disappointing! Apparently only long term people, and there were a lot of them, get full hookups. Campground is right next to I70, so lots of traffic noise!

The spaces were nice and roomy but that is about all I can say good about this park. There are people living in the park. The restrooms and showers are NOT a 9.5, Good Sam please change this rating. The showers are dirty and need updating. The office looks like it could fall down.
