Some not-so-tight turns to get in but manageable. The campground seems to have everything you need. Pasture to the east, tall oaks throughout. Out of the way, campground and quiet. OTA channels from Philadelphia. No alcohol allowed. would definitely stay here again.

We started to stay here back in may this year for mothers day. At first i was not sure. Well with 3 kids 15, 12,12 we were all VERY HAPPY. My oldest was happy to feed the cows, and sit by the fire. My twins met a bunch of friends and love fishing in the pond. This weekend (9-11 weekend) it was peaceful. The place is clean, staff seems friendly every time. We will be going back columbus day weekend and then again the following weekend. I do wish that they had more halloween events.. Possible more... Read More

But that only comes with suggestions. The people that seem to be there as guests are very nice. I look foward to staying again soon and Our future long term stay next summer! Also the fact that it is so close to home makes it even nice. Saturdays going to COW TOWN RODEO are even more fun.

This is a story you gotta hear! I see the other reviews on this page are from 2015 and 2016 when the previous owners operated this campground and kept reasonably good care of the place. But this is late in 2020 and this is not the same place today. More than the condition of the park is the attitude of the management. There is nothing about this place that makes you feel welcome - starting from the hello you don't get when you walk in to the thank you that you don't get when you hand over your... Read More

But this is late in 2020 and this is not the same place today. More than the condition of the park is the attitude of the management. There is nothing about this place that makes you feel welcome - starting from the hello you don't get when you walk in to the thank you that you don't get when you hand over your money. Then there are the basketball hoops without nets - the shuffleboard court that is weather stained with weeds growing through the cracks - the mini golf area with wooden configured holes that are rotted and coming apart and peeled up carpet with the cups fallen through the wood deck so there is just a hole in the wood that swallows your ball forever. I swept the debris off the putting surfaces to make it work for my granddaughters but it was too far-gone to use.. But that isn't what I'm here to tell you. The following is completely ridiculous. It's 5:30 pm, October 26th 2020, and I'm sitting at the picnic table having a meal with my family in the peace and quiet as advertised. Suddenly there is a blast of noise that startled everyone. It was OOO EEE OOO AH AH TING TANG WALLA WALLA BING BANG blasting at max volume from a huge bull horn speaker system on top of the camp office that looked like a war surplus air raid siren and was just as loud. They use this speaker system to make announcements to the entire property - yes the entire camp - it's that loud! I put up with this disturbance for an hour until my blood boiled. My space was a mere 100 yards from those bull horns and I hoped it would end. But it didn't.. I went to the office and blasted the attendant for this absolute stupidity so she called the owners into this picture. With the appropriate expletives I asked these people "What the hell they are doing exposing the campers to this incredible noise? It's a cool night. Everybody has their windows open and you are blasting music into our privacy" They said it's part of their Halloween Week celebration and they are going to play it as loud and as long as they want to. It didn't matter to these morons that Halloween isn't until the following weekend. So things went down hill fast from there. Long story (not so) short - I pulled out around 7:30 and the music was still blasting. So I'm here to tell you that if you are looking for a quiet well-kept campground with friendly - intelligent - management - Old Cedar is not it.

Just finished a long weekend here. One of the better campgrounds we've enjoyed. Full hook ups, two fishing ponds, a swimming lake and a swimming pool. Wooded sites, clean facilities. The camp store wasn't outfitted with the most modern merchandise, nor was there a lot of merchandise. But the basics were there (including ice cream treats) and there was an arcade connected to the store. Another reviewer mentioned mud appeared in the sites when it rains- which tends to happen when you're camping in... Read More

We stayed for about a month. Campground was decent, staff were great... very helpful and nice. The site we were on got very muddy when it rained, that was about the only downside. Internet is off and on depending on usage. Most of the time we used our phones for internet. We would stay there again.
