I had made a reservation and all they had were 2 back in sites for us and our friends. Upon arrival I was told they had pull thus for both of us. We checked in, which was quick and pleasant and then we were guided to our sites. We arrived at 2 nice level sites next to each other. Both sites were large and long enough to accommodate our rigs towing. We really enjoyed this campground and they were so helpful. We were here to see Boston and the surrounding area and they had information on the train and on several things to do. I would definitely recommend this campground!! Hopefully coming back next year.
Nice surprise off busy I-495. Off the beaten path in a quiet little town of Littleton Ma. Very tall trees line all the sites. Spread out with plenty of room between sites. Quiet with nice rec room, pool, and activities. Wifi is good and we would stay here again.
Beautiful grounds. Super friendly service with a site escort to set us up for the best angle to back in. Site was a little tight, but we did make a last minute booking and got what we got. Wifi was in and out, but we had full cell signal and cable hookup. Not a lot of kids so my boys got a little board, great camp to go back to someday when it's just my husband and I. You feel like you are in the woods, but everything you could ever need is right down the road.
Stayed 3 nights at this beautiful, tree covered campground. Utilities including cable worked well but WiFi was iffy and slow when it did work. Nice clean bathroom/shower facilities. Good gravel roads and pads. Our site was level but some I noticed weren't so. Some long pull throughs but mostly back-ins so make sure you request a long one if you have a big rig. Lots of games/activities for kids and adults alike. Clean enclosed pet area so you can let them run around a little. It was quiet most of the night but early in the morning trains horns were blaring. Friendly staff had good suggestions on getting into and around Boston. Don't be in too big a hurry to leave in the morning or you'll get stuck in rush hour traffic that seems to die down about 9 a.m. Also, there is no advanced signage for the entrance to the park so go slow when you think your getting close as there is just a sign at the driveway. Grocery stores and gas stations are nearby. $48.60 with GS a little pricey but par for the course in these parts.
Visiting family in area, have stayed here several times over the years. Had a pull-thru that was level, very good hook ups, and with good privacy. Very friendly owners and staff, exceptionally clean grounds, laundry, and sites. Will continue to come back in future.
We stayed here this past weekend. We booked with two other families a few weeks prior. We were together with one family, but the other was placed a little ways up the road. The campground was clean and shaded. The bathrooms were fantastic with huge shower areas and places to put all your belongings. I have to say probably the best shower I have come across in all the places I have camped. The place was not overcrowded with loud people which I am a fan of. They had a nice little pool, game room and store. We were only here for one full day to visit the bike trail. This campground is only 3 miles away from the Nashua River Rail Trail. The only negative I have is the sites are pretty small or at least the one we were put in. Not a huge deal, but that would be my only complaint if I had to make one. We also were not able to get a sewer site, but I completely understand we only booked a few weeks ahead and those are usually booked first. I would definitely recommend this campground.
This is possibly the campground nearest to the city of Boston which I suppose explains the high rate. On the plus side we had a large back-in site with full hookups, 50 amp electric and cable. It was large with a private feel to it with lots of trees and shade. The site surface is dirt and pine needles. The bathrooms and showers are very nice and reasonably clean, although they could use more light. They had what appeared to be a very nice pool but we did not use it. On the negative side, the driveways are bad, gravel, dirt, rutted, rough and dusty. There is free WiFi but we were only able to use it about 10% of the time. AT&T signal strength was -82 dBm, good. We paid $52.20 per night with Good Sam discount.
We went to Boston Minuteman for our family's first camping trip. I grew up camping, but we had yet to take our 3, 6, and 9 year olds on a camping trip. This is an excellent family campground. It's not too noisy, well maintained, and has plenty of activities, such as a playground, ping pong, arcade, volleyball, bocce, and other sports as well as an immaculate heated pool. Add to that that the park is absolutely beautiful. We will be camping here again.
