The campground is older and the owners are really trying to upgrade. The roads need some definite attention. It is a steep and narrow climb up to many sites. The sites are good size and not really close. The park is clean. The restrooms are really in need of attention. Without any air conditioning, the water stands and the floors are like walking on ice on a humid day. Holiday weekends are special. They have a small camp store. The campground is older and the owners are really trying to upgrade. The roads need some definite attention. It is a steep and narrow climb up to many sites. The sites are good size and not really close. The park is clean. The restrooms are really in need of attention. Without any air conditioning, the water stands and the floors are like walking on ice on a humid day. Holiday weekends are special. They have a small camp store. If you go, go into Tamaqua and make reservation and eat at the Railroad Station. Great food.

Sparkly clean, nice little store (great prices), 25> arcade, tripping over themselves to be super helpful. Everyone was exceedingly friendly. We made sure we booked our next stay with them before we left. We truly can't wait to return.
