We called ahead to check availability on the afternoon of 9/25/2020 and to reserve a spot for the night. Was relieved to here they had a long level pull through available, but then disappointed when she refused to reserve the site for us. Our Class C with trailer is 51 feet but we were told she'd rather hold it in case someone else might need it later. To me this was a total disregard of our need and completely goes against what we believed KOA represented in their campgrounds. I thought all RVs... Read More

Stayed here overnight. It's a great location off I-80 and nestled in the cornfields. The spots were shaded and had room in between the sites. We made reservations a month in advance, but were skeptical when you could not reserve the campsite #. The owners were friendly and cooperative and put us in a great campsite (I don't think they had "bad" campsites). They even escorted us to our site. It was nice to order a pizza after a long day driving. The campground was clean and quiet. We had... Read More

A KOA "Journey" is set up mostly for interstate overnighters and as far as they are compared with KOA Holiday or Resort brands typically have much fewer amenities or bells and whistles. Having said that, the Grand Island KOA Journey is a perfectly lovely overnight camp that packs a lot in a small package. 50 pull thru sites and several Kabins. The sites are shaded and fairly large and level. The office staff are super friendly and offer fresh pizza delivered to your site. There is a clean bathhouse... Read More

We've stayed at many KOA's and would rate this as a good one.

We did an over night stay on the way out west. Clean, nice place right off the highway! Would go again.

If you are looking for a respite from the city feel, this is the RV park for you. We were surrounded by corn fields and virtually nothing else. The park is nice with things to do for the kids and during the day it seems quiet. Spaces are average size but some of the trees need trimmed up to accommodate the larger rigs without damage so be careful when pulling in. The drive into town for supplies is approximately 6 miles. No real good place to walk your dog other than the "pet" areas which are... Read More

Originally reserved for one night, however, we ran into a trailer brake issue coming out of the Dakotas. The manager worked her magic and got us to remain in the original campsite although she had it booked for the following night. The campground had mature shade trees and the nearby I-80 traffic sounds are minimal due to the surrounding cornfields between the campground and I-80. I was escorted to my site immediately after check in then asked if I needed help setting up. The staff from the owner,... Read More

The staff from the owner, manager to the workers are very friendly and will accommodate reasonable requests. They offer pizza delivery (made in the campground office) in the evenings. These are very good people. We did not use the bathrooms, but there are multiple facilities that appear to be well maintained.

This is a KOA Journey. They have extras available like pizza. The pool is nice but could use some work. The sites are level and shaded. Typical of Nebraska, you will find a cornfield adjacent to the park. If you need internet, forget it! It's horrible! Good for overnight stop.

One of the nicest KOA's we've seen. Office is open till 9 so checking in at 6:30 was no problem. Ordered pizza when we arrived and asked for delivery an hour and a half later and it arrived perfectly on time - a wonderful perk to have at a campground, and it was very good pizza! Sites are gravel and fairly level. All hook ups worked well and were placed conveniently. Trees throughout the campground for decent shade. Nice dog walk area, but it needed mowing. Roads were dirt, fairly smooth and... Read More

Roads were dirt, fairly smooth and wide enough for easy turns. Staff guide you to your site and show you where all hook ups are which was a lovely, welcoming touch. This campground is right off the highway but as others have said still very quiet. We would defiantly stay here again.

Other than the shower being in one room and the sink in another room, the facilities were nice and clean. The staff was most helpful. And the pizza delivered to our camper door was nice after a long day on the road. I would stay there again.

Good overnighter near highway. Bathrooms and showers are separate rooms, with a few family complete rooms. Very clean bathrooms, though walls do not extend to ceiling, leaving very minimum privacy issue (if at all). Very few trees, not attractive sites, but very level gravel. Store that serves hot pizzas, wings, etc.
