Another well-maintained KOA. We had booked nearby at Shady Acres RV. Not good. Eat the cost and called KOA. Fortunately, they had open sites. Very accommodating and friendly staff. We did a two day stay to visit Arches NP and Canyonland. Great bathrooms. The major downside is the heavy crushed rock on the roads otherwise 5 stars all around. A little dust but overall a great stay. Should have booked here first!
We stayed one night and used only the site and laundry. The laundry was nice with 4 washers but only 2 dryers were working, one accepted only quarters and one accepted dimes. They also offered free coffee in the morning along with small breakfast rolls, donuts and the like. The staff were kind and helpful. We would stay there again.
We stayed one night as we traveled from Colorado to Capitol Reef National Park. Green River is a dusty little town but this KOA was a nice oasis in the desert. What a swimming pool! I couldn't keep the grandkids out of it. The sites are fairly level and roomy. The restrooms/showers were clean and serviceable. The staff was exceptional. And they have a great courtesy breakfast in the morning.
