We stayed for one night at the campground here with a travel trailer back-in site. The site was easy to access and hook-ups were good, but make sure you have a long hose and power cord. The hook-up was further than most sites. The park was beautiful and looked well maintained-clean and mowed. There were only about 10 other campers present the night we stayed. It is very quiet and very dark at night. The only downfall of the experience was the bathroom facilities. The toilets had shower curtains... Read More

I was not comfortable letting my children go in the bathroom on their own. There was a lot of mold growing on the bathroom shower walls and an over abundance of spiders and insects in the bathroom (I've stayed at a lot of state parks in many states and never seen neglect like this). I felt dirtier after my shower than before. Otherwise, it was a beautiful park.

This state park was a little hard to find using our google gps. We put in the campground as destination but it led us to the wrong place. Once we found it the campground looked very scenic and wide open and it is but the sites are another story. First the paved sites were small and most all were not level at all, some even had roots messing up the pavement. Most of the sites looked fine for pop ups but not for larger rvs etc. Second the water and electric are VERY far from the site. YOU BETTER HAVE... Read More

YOU BETTER HAVE A LONG CORD FOR ELECTRIC AND WATER or most sites will be unusable. The sites are pretty far apart and many are shaded. It is a very scenic park but the sites leave something to be desired. Restrooms were average with age showing and not updated but clean. There is construction in the area and some access to I-24 were blocked.
