Traveling full-time in a 38-foot coach we stayed 6-nights in a site for big rigs (site #34 - Pd $63.66/night) This was our first visit here. We've stayed in over 400 RV Parks and as far as WIFI goes, this RV park places in the Top Ten! We give this park 5-Stars for the fantastic WIFI! Our AT&T phones worked great here too. This park is a small well-maintained park. The staff is very friendly and fantastic. Big coaches need a gravel pad, so we also give this RV Park a 5-star rating for the paved... Read More

Some RV Parks also have very narrow roads which make backing up very difficult, we found this park to have plenty of room to maneuver our coach. Some RV Parks are so dusty that one has to clean their coach after a stay, but not here, the dust on our coach was very minimal compared to many other parks. Our satellite did receive reception. Had chairs, table, and BBQ on our site. The bad...No gate! I know many people do not like gates, but the bottom line is, gates do provide extra security. This is a great place to stay and we recommend it!

The check in staff were pleasant and friendly. We are a retired couple with a 27 ft travel trailer and were given a level drive-through spot right next to the pond. It appeared most (if not all) of the sites are level. Our site was clean and came with a propane barbecue and patio table with four chairs. Hookups were right at the rear of our trailer. There is cable tv with limited channels but we didn't use it. The wifi was inadequate for tv/netflix streaming. The restrooms at the office were clean... Read More

There are pedal cars available for rent. The swimming pool appeared to be clean, but it was small and we didn't use it. The campground was quiet for all three nights of our stay. We particularly enjoyed bird watching (there were several different kinds of water birds that lived near the pond, and ducks too), as well as the convenience to St.Augustine. The Trolley beach bus stops right at the office every hour. There is a pizza parlor that delivers to the campground and a Publix grocery a couple of miles down the road. Fast food and a convenience store are within walking distance. For the price, this is one of the better campgrounds we've stayed at in the entire Southeast U.S. We will go back.

Second visit to this facilities our stay this time was bad. Thanksgiving week 2015 voltage and amp readings very low 112v. 9.7 amps. thought A/C was broke . Employees checked electric hookup at our site #69 and #70 also said all was okay. Called a repair man checked A/C readings on roof and inside trailer said due to low readings we were lucky that we did not damage the unit. Campground did nothing. Our computer would not operate either or charge due to low amperage. Went to Camping world in St.... Read More

Went to Camping world in St. Augustine and bought a volt meter and Surge Guard voltage never went above 112 voltsPeople not picking up after their dogs. We will never come back here again. I would not rate this campground any higher than 5-5-5. Very disappointed from our first visit.
