Across the street from City dump entrance. Truck noise all night due to location on the main highway. Roadway inside campground had very large potholes and roads were not maintained. KOA usually does a much better job with their campgrounds.

Having stayed in KOA camp grounds before we made reservations here for 4 nights, although convenient to attractions the camp ground is below what you would expect for a KOA. The staff are friendly and there is a nice outdoor heated pool. All roads and sites are dirt/sand and although we were lucky I assume it would be quite a mess if it had rained. The camping area is heavily wooded so caution is required getting to your site. There are a 106 trailer/tent sites, with 25 being full hook up, and 4... Read More

Except for the pull through sites the back ins are not angled thus making it difficult to get in some. There was no guide to site which is unusual for a KOA.

The campground has 87 sites with 2 tiny women's showers for about 40 tent sites. It is run down and for $48 for just electric it is way over priced. No internet at the site. The back in sites are straight back and not at an angle making it difficult to back in the larger trailers. There was no escorts to the sites as I have come to expect from KOAs. The description says the sites are dirt but they are sand . They claim to have 2 dog runs but they are just posts in the ground with poop bags holder's.... Read More

I have a Sprint Wi-Fi and that has restricted signal. It looks like there were 2 large tent camper groups and that might have contributed to traffic jam in the ladies bathroom We stayed for 1 night as we travelled through. I probably would not stay here again

Great location for exploring the middle of the Upper Peninsula. The sites were bigger than average, most were shaded. While a little run down, the restrooms and showers were clean. The staff were helpful, cleared up a misunderstanding regarding the reservation totally to my satisfaction. Our site was a pull-thru and had full services.

Many amenities that were advertised were not available. Restrooms provided little privacy. I.e. showers did not have a place to privately keep your stuff while in the shower and dressing and undressing was done outside of shower. Many mosquitoes as well. But they are the only campground in the aea with showers, so they have no competition. Their campground sign in front of the area was wired for light but was never lit after sundown.
