We really enjoyed this campground. There are a good number of sites overlooking Indian Lake and let me tell you the sunsets are amazing! There is easy access to the lake for swimming or kayaking as well as docks close by to put a boat in. The campground was clean and well staffed. There are three bathhouses for the campground. The main bathhouse has 4 showers but the other two only had two one for men and one for women which can lead to some waiting but nothing major. There are also some hiking trails you can easily get to from the campground. The other plus is this campground is located in a good location to take a day trip down to Fayette State Park or over to Seul Choix Point Lighthouse as well as Kitch-iti-kipi. This campground is in our top ten for sure. Will go again.
Very nice state park. We stayed from the 4th of July until the 8th. DNR staff was very helpful and nice to work with. Large, clean dump station area. 20, 30 and 50 amp service. Very quite at night. We did not use their rest rooms. Great location to take day trips. Indian lake is a very large lake with good fishing. We would go back again to this state park.
