Campground is located about 0.6 miles from the Arrow Rock State Historical Area, about 10 miles North of I-70. The asphalt paved sites are fairly level with a mixture of pull thru and back in sites, We stayed on an electric loop although non-electric sites are available. Potable water was available nearby within the loop to refill tanks as needed. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. Trash and recycling bins were nearby along with a sanitary dump facility. The campground host was friendly and helpful. The campground has fairly good wifi coverage. There is no wifi password but you need to agree to the terms each time you log in. The sites are reasonably spaced apart so noise from neighbors was not a problem. In its boom days as a river port on the Missouri and a stopping point for the westbound wagon trains it boasted a population of nearly 10,000 but now the village of Arrow Rock has a population of about 58. Guided tours of the town are available in addition to self guided tours. The town has a professional stage theater with summer and fall offerings.

Fantastic place to visit and camp! So much to do and see with the historic town of Arrow Rock just next door to campground. Wonderful trails to hike, paved and gravel. Met some wonderful senior campers there like us!!! Very well kept park. Restrooms could use some improving but OK. Only real complaint is that campsites are not level, not in the least bit. Heard alot of complaints in that area. But we will definitely visit again next year! Great experience overall.
