We have stayed at this site going on 4 years. We come every year in late summer. The staff is super friendly and the kayaking is a great way to get out and see the lake. It is centrally located to the local wine makers. The RV sites are easy to access and the local make it fun.

Last year my family and I camped here. We stayed for the week of July 4th and Camp Chautauqua's Fall Ball. We have camped here previously and Camp Chautauqua continues to impress me. The family atmosphere and variety of activities keeps us busy all week/weekend long. The staff works continuously to maintain the bathrooms and pools. The weekend themes are fun and interactive. The sites are roomy and the roads always have fresh stone. Leveling our camper is always easy on their sites. There... Read More

The family atmosphere and variety of activities keeps us busy all week/weekend long. The staff works continuously to maintain the bathrooms and pools. The weekend themes are fun and interactive. The sites are roomy and the roads always have fresh stone. Leveling our camper is always easy on their sites. There are some sites located close to the action and some tucked away in a wooden area. The store offers a variety of camping goods and lots of snacks/treats for all ages. There is plenty of firewood available. The pool is clean and well maintained. There is also a small kiddie pool. The view of the lake is perfect to watch the sun come up or go down. If you don't want to make breakfast, they offer breakfast sandwiches by the pool for a small fee. They have animals that you can feed and pet. There is plenty of dock space where you can bring your own boat or rent one at a local marina for your stay. There are a few playgrounds for the kids. There is a basketball court and volleyball court that are open for use. One of my kids favorite things to do is fish at the pond. They also like to catch and release frogs from the pond as well. Golf carts are a great way to get around the campground. You can bring your own or rent one from the store. New carts were purchased about 2 years ago. This campground has everything you need for your stay or you can venture out to the surrounding areas. Mayville, Panama Rocks, & Bemus Point have many local attractions & dining. My family and I will continue to come here until we permanently set down on one of their seasonal sites in the near future. I highly recommend this campground to all.

Campground is mostly permanent installations. Transient sites and facilities are degrading and ignored. Owners should just get out of the transient business.

Do not believe the pictures or the description of this "campground". We were charged $62 per night which was supposed to get us concrete pad close to lake, FHU, cable and Wifi. Was told they didn't have Wifi yet. When I asked for a discount, I got attitude but did get a 10% discount. Betwee us and the lake was a boat storage and we could barely see any water. The sites are very narrow since 98% of this place is occupied by manufactured homes. The shore of the lake appears to be a dump. There... Read More

It's just a mess. We will never go back.
