The playground was nostalgic and more fun for young kids. There was no basketball hoop, yet the pool was extremely good. The entire grounds were clean and well maintained. Riding bikes on the grounds gives a person a good work-out.
The campground is located in a secluded area, which is nice for quietness. There are ample city parks and playgrounds for all ages within a very short drive or a doable walk or bike ride.
The owners bought Driftwood a few years ago and did a great job in refurbishing it. We visited with people who had stayed there for a month, and they love it.
One suggestion: ask the campground attendant the best hill to drive to exit the area. The city streets from the river are steep, except the one we used which is three miles north of the campground.
We will definitely stay there again.
Very Nice, Super Friendly Park
Host along with Manager continue to go way out for guests.
Concrete Pad, Plenty of room for our 40 ft
WIFI slow but will be with everyone streaming movies
Pool was great, especially 95 degree muggy days,
Did not use the showers, but restrooms were clean
Laundry was small, but clean and machines worked.
Really, Nothing negative to report.
See you next spring for sure
