It's a nice facility and all: lots of amenities, good WiFi, clean bathroom, rec room, etc. It would be fives across the board except for the bad plumbing between the pool and my site. When they backwash the pool filter, it erupts out the sewer inlet at my site. I noticed wet each morning, but attributed it to overnight rain and high humidity, until, on Day Three, I heard and saw effluent gushing out of my sewer line. It completely blew the sewer hose out of the hole, ran across the entire site (all... Read More

It completely blew the sewer hose out of the hole, ran across the entire site (all concrete), and out into the paved lane. I rushed to get my stuff up on the picnic table and then ran to the office. Initially, they said they would send someone over with the power washer to clean up while I was out. Upon return, they told me it was just pool water. No evidence of any power washing. While I have no doubt they were backwashing the pool filter, it was flushing out through the sewer line; there was sewer effluent. My nose confirmed that. I did not see any backups at abutting sites, just this one. Stay away from sites that back up to the pool. I am leaving in the morning.

We spent 4 months here while my wife underwent treatment at M D Anderson and never grew tired of how good coming "home" felt after a long day at the hospital. The grounds are immaculate and the employees are the best. There is no doubt that if we need to return for more than a couple of days, we'll stay here again.

I'm sorry folks, but while this park (and all its sister parks) are nice, they are totally overpriced, taking advantage of the medical needs of people who need to be close to the medical center. For those there for longer than just a few days, like monthly, it is awful!!!!!

We have stayed a number of times at Lakeview. It is recommended by M.D. Anderson Hospital, so our visits are centered around our appointments. You could not find a nicer, more beautiful place to live while undergoing treatments. Management goes out of their way to make sure your stay is great and we don't worry about one thing. All of the amenities are top notch and the grounds are well-groomed. Lake is beautiful, park is secure and gated. This place has been a blessing to us and many others... Read More

We were extremely impressed when we arrived. Folks in the office we nice, and welcomed us. If it is your first visit, it takes a little time to get you set up in their system, which is understandable. The resort was clean and well taken care of in our opinion. We had a pull through site, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of traveling. Facilities were kept up, and the yard crews were working hard to keep everything manicured. We had a pull through site, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of traveling. Facilities were kept up, and the yard crews were working hard to keep everything manicured. I used to stay somewhere else, as we were exhibitors in the Houston Livestock show for several years, and that is my regret that I did not know about this place during that time. Would have definitely stayed here as opposed to where we did stay. We will be back again, without question. Rates are reasonable in line with services offered, and facilities. Top notch, well done. Keep up the great job !
