Super cute little campground. The owners and grounds/maintenance guy were all very friendly and helpful. Lots of trees and shade. Arcade for the kids and swimming pool. We stayed in spot B-2 with a 40 ft. 5th wheel and there was plenty of room. The grounds were very nice and clean. Spots were a bit close, but overall we really enjoyed it. It is also very close to the Roaring River trout hatchery - this is a must see.

This was our first camping trip EVER in a brand-new travel trailer. We (my husband and I) are almost entirely inept as it pertains to hooking up, unhitching, camping in general. We took our two kids, 7 and 10. This is a family-owned business. From the moment we pulled in to the moment we left, attention to detail and customer service was phenomenal. They watched us hook our trailer up for the first time and even brought in backups to our wheels chocks. Our site was pull-through although there were... Read More

We took our two kids, 7 and 10. This is a family-owned business. From the moment we pulled in to the moment we left, attention to detail and customer service was phenomenal. They watched us hook our trailer up for the first time and even brought in backups to our wheels chocks. Our site was pull-through although there were several back-in sites as well as cabins. Pool was crystal clear and refreshing on a hot summer day. Some evenings they line the pool with glow sticks and LED balloons adding to the fun for our kids. Playground was fine and boasted two sizes of swings, several benches and a wood jungle gym for younger kids. Plenty of shade. Restroom facilities were spotless. The number of sites is small, there is shade, everything is easy to access. We did not check out the game room although we know there is one. We did not bring our dogs but noticed several campers had theirs. There are numerous visible locations to grab pet baggies. Also the trash dumpster was easily accessible. Although we had full hookups, the additional 'dump' area made it easy to clean out our sewer hose. This might be common but please remember this was our first trip so we were impressed with the ease and convenience of everything. We visited the Roaring River State Park, its hatchery and the waterslide up the road that's been built into the side of the mountain since the 1970s. What a FUN area. All within 2-3 miles. We will for sure not only visit this area again but the RV park/campground as well. We felt entirely safe and the STAFF my goodness - amazing service.
