First impressions are everything, especially as it is usually the only time you have contact with an employee. We had a very bad experience with a rude front office employee who wouldn't tell us where we could find a restroom. She pointed outside and didn't explain where it was. She said `left-side driveway.' We never found it. She refused to be more specific.

First thing, this is a country club setting. Everything is neat, tidy, well manicured. It is gated and you feel like a snob entering your code for the gate. Unfortunately we did not use the pool or other facilities. Every time I dealt with staff by email, telephone, and in person they were extremely warm and attentive. The site was a back in, but large enough for a 35' and our toad. Large shade trees in the area we were in. Large grass areas and a huge dog run. Stayed for 5 days while at... Read More

On the last day the power went out in the morning as a transformer in the park blew. The no generator policy went right out the window. They did seem to group rigs into kind of tight areas under the trees I suspect for shade while leaving large areas empty. This seemed to upset one of our neighbors who left immediately after parking. We would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

Stayed 8/15/18-10/31/18. Crazy hot (we expected), biting flies were terrible as were biting ants. Facilities and grounds were immaculate. No discount for long term. Staff was unfriendly. Pool area is gorgeous. The bad feelings: told we could fit our truck in the drive. Nope. Had an argument w Genl Mgr who needs a Dale Carnegie course and clear they didn't want to do the work to get us into a larger site. Had to park 100 yards from site. Told all the places were taken but there were probably 15 RVs... Read More

Told all the places were taken but there were probably 15 RVs in park out of 300 spaces for next several weeks. How would you feel? Told we could not extend RV over the grass and then everyone else was doing it and parking their trucks in their drives. 3x at the pool mid day when worker adding chemicals to pool. Everyone left. We complained and they continued to do it anyway. They had tent canopies at pool that we enjoyed when first there. Then they cordoned them off w yellow crime tape and noted "reserved" for named families that stayed cordoned for weeks, saying you could "rent them". I thought this was extremely tacky to do when so few RVs there. We would not stay again bc we felt unwelcome and not worth the expense.

Made better time than expected, so started calling for reservations when got near Palm Springs area. Either facilities were closed for the weekend, or didn't answer the phone. So were glad to reach a real person. Unfortunately directions very vague, even when called the second time for more details. Gave street name rather than exit number which was confusing as we couldn't calculate how much further we had to go. No distances given for in-town travel, so we were very glad when we found it.... Luckily I had been given the gate code. Thankful for tall trees giving shade as it was 106 at arrival. Pool in full sun, so couldn't enjoy it. Very clean bathroom, ledge preventing water from flowing on to drying area. Only negative, train noise ongoing through the night as well.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds. After traveling thru the desert areas of Texas, New Mexico and Arizona, this place was a welcone oasis. The landscape was lush green and well kept. There was a putting green right behind our RV. Would love to have stayed here longer. We stayed 3 nights. The staff was pleasant.

Stayed here for a week during our travels through the Southwest. We had a nice site on the western edge of the park with a nice shady tree. Disappointed not to have a picnic bench at the site. Roads are nice and wide - registration area is very easy to navigate. This is a big park! Beautiful grounds with grass, trees, and lots of flowers. Pool areas were beautiful and relaxing. Restrooms and showers were first rate and very clean. Location is very close to the freeway and surrounding communities.... Read More

We had a great time enjoying the St. Patrick's Day party as well as Bingo night - fun times! Tennis and pickleball courts were nice. The whole facility is kept sparkling. We enjoyed it so much, we're headed back there in September.

We stayed here for 3 nights. This is a beautiful resort. Spotless; meticulously maintained. They have lots of tree shaded sites. Be mindful of the marketing tiers for the different campsites: premium/elite/etc., as they range in price. All of the campsites to the right of the guard gate and main pool are closest to I-10, and although very nice sites, there is more noise from the freeway on this side of the campsite. To the left of the pool and clubhouse, or on the west side, the sites are a little larger (not much), and more expensive. But, they are much quieter. Because we were there in September, there were maybe 10 campers/motorhomes staying there, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The salt water pool was cool and refreshing. Everything here is thoughtfully planned out; even the pool had many palm trees around it and provided an abundance of shade without leaving you totally exposed to the sun (it was 106 while we were there, so we were grateful for the shade). The streets are wide, and well lit with these very nice 'short lights' that are low to the ground and light the streets without harsh overhead lighting, which created a nice ambiance. The fitness room and restroom facilities were immaculate, and the equipment was newer and very nice so we used the fitness room each day. Will definitely stay here again when we are in Palm Springs.

Site had poor internet service and the campground backs to a busy RR track as well as I-10. Heavy noise 24/7. Complained after firat night with no sleep. They refused to refund remaining 2 days prepaid. They moved us to a site closer to Frank Sinatra, that they said they knew the internet was good, (so, they apparently knew the first site had poor internet). The noise was a little less, but I will never stay here again! These kind of sites should be made into Golf Driving ranges, where noise is... Read More

They build a country club looking RV park, but that should not fool you.

This is a beautiful, lush and green spot in the desert. They cater to the high-end Rvers with a bunch of class-A coaches throughout the park. The grounds were spotless and there was a lot to see and do in and round the park. The park had an army of landscapers manicuring the grounds. It had two pools, one adult only, 4-hole golf course, hot tub, pickle ball, tennis and horseshoes. The grounds were flat for easy bike rides or taking Fido for a walk. The gates closed and locked at dark so you... Read More

The gates closed and locked at dark so you had a sense of safety. The biggest draw back are the freight trains. The park's entire northeast side is a railroad track. The trains rumbled by 2 or 3 times every hour all times of the day and night. The wife is a light sleeper and she was shaken awake by trains most every night. The refund/cancellation policy was a bit harsh considering the park was less than half full. Be careful if your plans are not in concrete. Over all, the place was great and will go back next time we are in Palm Springs.

One of the best, I ONLY hope I don't get discouraged too much in the other future RV park stays. So far I have not lost ANY trust with Good Sam Club and five stars for me is something not given usually. The Library, putting green (loan out putters) honor pay system, mini mart. The park wasn't surprisingly full in my July and October visit ? I had pick of the litter, so to speak. There was ONE problem at the RV sites, the well water,(HARD). LOTS of beautiful GREEN grass, (SPRINKLERS) NOT good for RV exterior bodies. A solution might be a tin or aluminum at few sprinkler heads worked. Use your imagination.
