Small, but super friendly and very clean. Great one night stay passing through. We will come back and stay longer. They need an ice machine. Get ice if you need it before you get here.

This is a very clean, nice little park on a familiar road between Dallas and Colorado. Directly across from the turnoff for Capulin Volcano National Monument, this is conveniently located relatively close to Raton, NM and near an attraction. The park is well maintained, and the owners are very gracious and easy to work with. The facility rating of 3 stars is only a reflection of the available amenities, and not the quality of the ones offered. The campground is a large gravel covered lot. We... Read More

We were the only ones staying overnight in the main area, and only stayed for a single night. We had an easy time negotiating the park with a 42 foot long 5th wheel. This may be different if the park has more guests, but we did not have any issues. We would recommend this park for anyone looking to stay in this area or needing an overnight hitching post. We will be back!

Upon arrival the camp host greeted us at our truck. Asked if we were ready to stop for the night and asked if we would like FHUs. He then walked us to the pull-thru FHU site and told us to stop by the office whenever we had the time. Gravel level sites & roads. WiFi worked really well. The campground doesn't offer much to do, but is clean & well kept. The bathhouse is amazing with two private showers and two private toilets. And features a double sink vanity with large mirror for those needing... Read More

All in all great camp hosts, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
