Spent 3 nights at this lovely campground with a view of the lake (very large reservoir) nestled among beautiful fir trees and even had a resident bald eagle, her huge nest and her nearly grown 'chicks' to watch...fabulous! While there are a fair number of liveaboards, each campsite was impeccably maintained and the residents were lovely to chat with and learn about the area. For those passing through, the pull-thrus were level and easy to access and gave us plenty of room, plus lovely campground personnel. There's a small dog run up next to the tent area we did not visit the restrooms/other amenities (we rarely do), so cannot comment. Going west on the 58, there's a small, well-run market down the road for supplies also a large state park with lake access, a boat ramp, great walking and very nice restrooms (Elijah Bristow SP). Going east along the 58, you can cross the lake and visit Lowell, or just continue and follow along the lake/reservoir to see the sluice gates at various stages. We enjoyed the peacefulness very much!

Quiet, clean and green, this pleasant little campground has grass, trees, and a view of the lake across the highway. Our pull-through site was level dirt and had full hook-ups on one side and a lawn with picnic table on the other. Although there isn't a dog run, dogs on leashes are welcome and I found a quiet corner below the office, away from the campsites, for throwing a ball for our very active dog. Next to the office is a spacious, nicely equipped clubhouse room which I'm sure would be a welcome change for someone wanting to stretch out beyond their own RV's interior. For us, the best amenity of all was the very friendly and helpful management! We happily stopped again on our return trip.
