This place should NOT be a Good Sam park. Waited almost an hour while the receptionist fumbled with her computer to get the couple ahead of us checked in. They finally got fed up and said forget it and left. We were already checked in by phone but couldn’t get to our spot because the people ahead of us were blocking the entrance. Finally got to our spot and an employee knocked on our door to tell us the power would be off for 30 to 45 minutes. After an hour we had to ask how much longer and were told another 5 minutes. Finally got the power back and there was no WiFi. The place is dirty and ill kept. Would NOT recommend.

This is the worst campground ever. The smell is so bad we could not sleep. Our eyes, throat and lungs burned all night. It is sewer or animal, not sure which, but you cannot draw a breath. Some people packed up and left. We thought about it, but we had driven all day and needed a little rest. We did not get any sleep. The dogs were even bothered and kept snorting all night because of the smell. It has to be a health violation. Stay away

Very pricey for what you get. Dirt roadways and sites covered with debris and litter, No cable, no WiFi, and pool was pretty green. Office was never open during our stay. Only accepted cash for payment.. Smell of nearby sewer plant is overwhelming. The park was full of what appeared to be long term derelicts. Next time I'll stay in the nearby truck stop and run the generator for the night.

We have stayed here several times and conditions continue to deteriorate. Twice in July we arrived to find the office/store locked despite the neon sign declaring it was OPEN. At this point you need to pick a spot and put your money in an envelope and slide it through the mail slot. They are charging $48 for 30 AMP service and $53 for 50 AMP. No Good Sam discount. No wi-fi codes. Don't believe the pictures. This place is run-down and dirty.

Called ahead was told about the envelope no big deal. But no code for the restroom or wi-Fi. In fact we were there around 330 pm. No one was in the office and didn't feel comfortable leaving our cc# on an envelope. 2 was a high rating

When we checked in, we were told the pool would be available in a few hours after a dust storm got dirt in the pool. The managers husband would clean it. The MAIN REASON WE STOPPED HERE so we could use the pool. It is so hot today. So we paid, and it's now 7pm. There is a sign on the pool. Not open! I am standing outside the main office trying to get wifi. Nothing... I would have gone down the road to another Good Sam had the manager been a little more honest. It is a sparse dust parking lot.

A copy of my Email to this RV park after our stay. It says it all!! AWFUL EXPERIENCE Since we could not find anyone in the office or get our phone calls answered or messages returned, I am writing to inform you that we left early and are expecting a partial refund. We were registered for two nights and submitted credit card information to pay for two nights. We only stayed one. We arrived after 3 as per your check-in policy. No one was in the office. We found a spot ourselves per your posted sign. This was difficult because there was no indication of which sites were 30 and which were 50 amp. Your map indicated that the sites with blue dots were already occupied. This was incorrect information as it did not match the actual empty and occupied sites. We did not find a 50 amp site so decided to settle for 30 amp. The sign on your door indicated when you would be back in the office. We came by again at that time. No one one was there but the envelope with our payment information which we'd put through the mail slot had been retrieved. It was an extremely unpleasant and frustrating experience. I work from the road and rely on decent cellular connectivity for phone and internet. Your instructions emailed to me indicated you do have wifi for guests but no password was sent and THERE WAS NO ONE HOME when we tried to get a password. Our phone messages went unanswered. We had such poor Verizon cell phone reception that we couldn't use our personal hotspot either. The neighbors sat outside drinking beer and talking loudly until 1 AM. There was highway noise too. We had to sleep with our windows open because the 30 amp service would not allow us to run even one air conditioner and it was HOT! We think we were not able to draw a full 30 amps from your hookup. We also couldn't find a dumpster for our trash. There was gravel and dust everywhere. We had no satellite reception for the TV. You had rates posted on your sign and then other higher "summer" rates posted on the door. The base rate was way too high for this lack of service and amenities. The "summer" rates were RIDICULOUS. The only good things I have to say are that you are easy on and off the freeway and there is plenty of room to maneuver a big rig. The rest of our experience at Lost Hills RV Park was terrible.

It's says no reservations required. We were told a specific site and that site would be blocked with an orange cone. Well, there was someone already in that site. The office was closed the entire stay. Via phone we were advised we could select from two other spaces, one was already occupied, so we parked our rig in the vacant spot. An hour later another coach pulled up, advising they too were assigned the same site. Would of been better to have been told just pick a site. There were several people experiencing the same thing. Pool was closed due to, "Sand storm". I called Motel 6 across the street, they advised their pool was open and no recent sand storm reported. Since the office was closed, no access to the store, obtain wi-fi password. Thank goodness the bathroom door was left open, as no password to get in to take a shower. A large green pond adjacent to the propert=mosquitoes. Ahh no, wouldn't stay here again.

Friendly, helpful staff. Easy traffic pattern. Spotless restrooms. Excellent dog park. Dirt sites will be very muddy after a rain event. Fine park for an over night stay.

Decent park. The lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful. The whole campground is on dirt. We were there on a dry day, but I wonder how muddy it would get if it was raining. Wi-Fi was non existent at our site. Park is far enough from the freeway so noise was not an issue. Good place for an overnight stay,

Great overnight spot between Northern and Southern CA. It was easy off and easy on I-5, with plenty of gas/diesel/DEF and fast food restaurants nearby. The park itself is all crushed rock with no grass. Each spot did have a tree so that was nice. We were there in Dec 2015, so it wasn’t hot or windy. The sites were plentiful and easy in and out. Each site had electric/water/sewer hook ups. Nothing fancy, just a nice, safe place for an overnight stay.

This is a very hot, windy, dry time of year and the sites are not paved. Our site as well as a number of others do have a couple of trees providing some needed shade. The pool and restroom areas are immaculate as is the laundry. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's located right off the interstate, very convenient on and off but there's not much to do around here, which is not the campground's fault. If you want easy access and clean facilites, I recommend this place.

I was surprised at all the upgrades and friendly staff. Fairly quiet, noise from truck stop next door but not much. Very clean restrooms. My only negative comment pertains to the individual who turned on the water to water the grass in the very nice pet area, he looked over saw me and still turned the water on.
