This park was exactly what we hoped for. Quiet, inexpensive and with a beautiful view. We only needed the electric and wifi. Even though we picked the farthest sight from the casino we streamed Netflix with no problems. Casino is within walking distance. Casino was fun and the slots were generous. At $12 per night this was a bargain.

This is a very limited facility but it is excellent for what it purports to be; a place for a brief stop while you try your luck in the nearby casino also owned by the Spokane Tribe. The price is right at $12 w/ club card which includes power, water, and Wi-Fi but no hook-up or dump facility or TV or recreational facilities. It is clean and well-maintained. Because of limited spaces I believe they limit the stay during the "season" but because I'm here off-season and the only one in the Park... Read More

Because of limited spaces I believe they limit the stay during the "season" but because I'm here off-season and the only one in the Park for 4 of my 7 nights I believe I could stay indefinitely. 49 North ski area is about 13 miles away so it might work for those kind of visits. Chewelah is a decent town with a few restaurants, a Safeway, a couple of drug stores, a full size hardware store, etc. The tribal station sells Texaco for as low a price as the off-brands and propane at $1.99 gallon. Spokane is 42 miles south (about 45-50 minutes).
