Now, the park is clean, quiet, packed gravel, wide sites, open all year, the owner lives on the property and wants to satisfy his customers. Many campers work 12 on and 12 off at the local powder plant so you do not have to worry about noise. Only trees are willows and they are at the rear of many sites. It is an excellent park in which to stay when visiting St. Louis but one does not want the hustle and bustle of the city proper. The park is easy to get around in and access from highway 154. There are a number of mom and pop restaurants in Red Bud, IL, 8 miles away if you want to eat out. We stayed a week and will return.
