We camped at the Grand Prairie Rotary Camp Ground for one night during the second week of September 2019. This campground is a hidden gem in the city of Grand Prairie, AB. Because it's in town, anything you may need is convenient and close. However, because it is in town it tends to be a little noisy. To get to the RV park you have to enter through the parking lot of a college which may be a bit of a challenge. A very friendly staff got us checked in and directed us to our pull-through site.... To get to the RV park you have to enter through the parking lot of a college which may be a bit of a challenge. A very friendly staff got us checked in and directed us to our pull-through site. We had full hookups for $36 (USD) per night. We used over the air TV broadcasts and our cell phone signal for internet access. We didn't use any of the public restroom or shower facilities during our stay. The campsite was not level but required only minor adjustment to make it so. The campground was pretty full overnight, so I'd recommend reservations for this popular stop. It also appeared to have a few "full-timers" living there. A nice feature of this campground is that it's located next to a small lake and the large open grassy lawn of the college with nicely paved sidewalks through out the area. I really liked this place but stopped short of rating it a "5" because of the clumsy entrance through another facilities parking lot and the street noise. Having said that, there are many other reasons why next time through Grand Prairie, I would definitely stay here again.
