Pluses: Very reasonable rates. Handy, easy 15 min walk to downtown and 1 block from Safeway (w/Starbucks!) OR, free frequent shuttle to downtown behind this Safeway. Well-kept park. Great people. Minuses: Next to NOISY freeway. Light sleepers can't sleep here because, did I say?, next to LOUD freeway. No doggy area/grass. Therefore, "Appeal Rating" 3star. Otherwise, would love to come back to this small park instead of that KOA close-by costing twice as much.

We visited Leavenworth for a quick break-in trip for a new-to-us RV. We were unable to find a spot during the Labor Day weekend, but delayed our trip and arrived the day after Labor Day for a couple of nights. The park is smaller and quaint. Manager and staff are super nice and accommodating. All access roads and parking sites are compacted gravel. The site we had, #1, was reasonably level and required little adjustment to get our rig in level. Our site also had a fire pit and picnic table... Read More

Our site also had a fire pit and picnic table along with full hookups. Hookup equipment was in good condition electrical box was in fine shape, and the dump port had a foot actuated cover, so no messing around unscrewing a cap. Water faucets were old style twist faucets and water pressure was acceptable, but not overly strong. Internet access was excellent. WiFi at our site was very strong and Internet speeds were also excellent. Streaming a movie or doing a FaceTime call were no problem at all. While there are no RV parks that are located in the "action" of Leavenworth or anywhere near the center of town, Leavenworth does have a free shuttle bus on the "D" route. Walk to Hwy 2 and cross it at the light and you will find a bus stop nearby, at the base of the lumber yard parking lot, and you can take the shuttle into town rather than walk the 3/4 mile into town. The walk is quite pleasant, but is time consuming. Keep in mind that during the high season there is limited parking in town and most parking is pay parking, so taking the shuttle is a great alternative to driving in. Many of the best spots in the park are at the edge of Hwy 2 and in spite of the highway being a 2-lane mountain pass in most places, it is a heavily traveled road with a lot of truck traffic. Road noise can be quite noticeable, especially at night. Supplying yourself while at the park is not difficult. Across the highway is a hardware store/lumber yard and a Safeway grocery store. A fairly short walk and you can get groceries and other supplies. The nearby hardware store also carries a small supply of RV parts and supplies. If you need anything RV related, call them ahead of time and ask if they have what you are looking for before you make the walk over. While the park has premium full hook up locations, regular full hook up spots, and partial hookups, so getting utilities to your RV is pretty easy, there are few other amenities at the park. The park has a sports court or basketball court, it doesn't have a clubhouse, workout room, or pool/hot tub. There are basically two buildings on site, the office and a bathhouse. Bathrooms were better than average. Toilets and stalls are clean and well kept. Shower stalls are presentable and reasonably clean and have fairly recently been refurbished. There is sufficient privacy to change, shower, and dry off and you aren't in the open like the showers and gym at the local YMCA. The highlight of this park is the nice staff, small size of the whole location, well kept grounds, and proximity to the main attraction, Leavenworth. Hookups are in good shape and function properly. Limited on-site amenities is a bit of a downer, but you aren't visiting Leavenworth to use the clubhouse at an RV park, you are there to enjoy Leavenworth, so this isn't a deal breaker. I do recommend this location and think you will agree that is a great place as a jumping off point to visit Leavenworth or the surrounding area.
