At 11 am checkout, our friends parked on our site and we went swimming. While on the beach, one of the owners approached our friends and told them they would have to pay another $25 to stay until 2. They explained they wanted to stay until around 3 or 4, and she said they would have to pay another $25 for a total of $50. She was extremely rude to them. I explained that I had already paid $80 to stay another night and was leaving at 6. I asked her if she could waive the $25 since all of us had already stayed 2 nights, and I was not even staying the full night. She was extremely rude to me also, said we were trying to swim for free, and that she had a business to run. She came back with her husband for my friends to sign the charge, which they signed. When I explained that I was going to write negative reviews since they only cared about money and wanted $130 for our kids to swim for a few hours, Her husband told us maybe we should call our kids out of the pond and he could just kick us out. I told him I had paid to stay and I was entitled to write negative reviews. There are many other much larger and nicer resorts that do not charge such hefty fees (not even in print) for early check in and late check out. The owners are rude, money hungry watchdogs. If you read the reviews on this site and various others, you will see that quite a few people are consistently watched like Big Brother while they are camping and are not happy with how they are treated. KOA should be ashamed. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

With activities such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, bingo, live music, crafts and more, there's always something happening. They even have a nice swimming lake with inflatable water activities. The campground is always kept clean and has the kindest staff. They have RVs for rent and places to pitch tents. The bathrooms are stellar unlike some other campgrounds I've been to. The new cafe serves tasty food at reasonable prices, and the grounds were peaceful and scenic for relaxation. As for the kids' activities, my daughter enjoyed a huge, modern looking playground, golf cart rentals, an always inflated jumping pillow, a man-made, pristine, blue, lake with huge inflatables and life jacket rentals. She also participated in crafts for kids each day and was able to fish in another lake on the property. The owners also offer entertainment on weekends such as DJ's, live bands, Bingo, and hayrides. There was always plenty to do during our stay. This is an up and coming campground that I plan to return to frequently. We often stay at resorts such as Jellystone that offer fun activities for kids and families, and this campground offers a lot of resort fun at a reasonable price, which, I believe, will only become better. Demi and Fernando are working on plans for mini golf to open in 2018 and told me they have other plans for the future as well. I can't wait to see what they do next, and I can't imagine anyone being disappointed in their stay.

Stayed here on two trips from FL to OH for vacation one in July and one in August. This camp ground is the best! The owners are extremely nice people and careing. You would be hard pressed to find as much fun going on at any other campground. Green Acres Is The Place To Be!

Wonderful active place to camp. Lots of things for kids to do, wonderful camping experience. Lake to fish and pool to swim, plus a playground. While we were there the two weekends there was DJ or band on Saturday night.
