This place was amazing! We had a blast. It was a two night stay and we didn't want to leave. When we arrived the owner was so nice and cooperative. When we were setting up our motorhome and had some difficulties with hooking up black tank... the grounds keeper came to our rescue. The place is very entertaining! The swimming hole is so nice with massive inflatable slides. There's fishing and a game room. The best part is the bouncing pillow!! Check it out. The park is so clean and well kept. The bathrooms were nice, but the pull showers weren't our favorite. This place was amazing! If you need a clean, fun, affordable place to camp.. You have found it!
We spent Fourth of July weekend here and had a great time. The park was clean and well kept in my opinion. Music playing by the beach was nice, kids enjoyed the slide in the lake. The enforced speed limit made us feel safe letting our 11 and 12 year olds roam within reason. The people who complained about the prices...ummm it was seriously $40 per night for full hookup...the cheapest we have ever paid for equivalent amenities. The other fees people complain about are minimal..only $5 to rent a life jacket to keep your kid safe..we had to buy an extension for the sewer and it was actually the same price as the local Walmart when I looked. The owners are friendly and it's obvious they have worked hard to make the park a pleasant place. The highway can be heard but the park makes up for it..
My family has a seasonal RV site and since the new owners took over the prices have significantly increased. The campground is right next to I-76 and you can hear cars and trucks fly by ALL NIGHT. The bathrooms are ok but could use plenty of renovations. The owners try to charge you for Every. Single. Thing. they can think of. They call and text you while you're at home to tell you that you need to scrub your camper because it's not clean enough, or you need to mow the lawn (a very small patch of grass at their campground!), or that you have too much stuff on your campsite. And you have by the end of that week to come and do it or they do it for you and charge you for it. $20 to mow the lawn (twice a month), $200 to wash your camper, and if they think you have too much stuff outside they want you to buy a storage shed (restricted to cabinets about 3 ft wide x 3 ft deep x 7 ft tall) and then charge you $50 to keep it on your site. $2000 for the seasonal pass (electric not included). The plus side is that there are a lot of recreational areas and planned activities here. So all in all its great if you're just staying every now and then, but not so much for a long durations.
This camping resort is wonderful for kids and adults alike. The new owners made us feel at home and were very visible during our stay to make sure we were enjoying it. They were constantly working to make the grounds safe and enjoyable. There are so many fun activities for kids, and our seven-year-old daughter cannot wait to return. Although we have a camper, I used the bathrooms, and they were very clean. The office was always open and service was prompt. They have a rental key available to enter the grounds and carefully monitor all guests entering and leaving. The new cafe serves tasty food at reasonable prices, and the grounds were peaceful and scenic for relaxation. As for the kids' activities, my daughter enjoyed a huge, modern looking playground, golf cart rentals, an always inflated jumping pillow, a man-made, pristine, blue, lake with huge inflatables and life jacket rentals. She also participated in crafts for kids each day and was able to fish in another lake on the property. The owners also offer entertainment on weekends such as DJ's, live bands, Bingo, and hayrides. There was always plenty to do during our stay. This is an up and coming campground that I plan to return to frequently. We often stay at resorts such as Jellystone that offer fun activities for kids and families, and this campground offers a lot of resort fun at a reasonable price, which, I believe, will only become better. Demi and Fernando are working on plans for mini golf to open in 2018 and told me they have other plans for the future as well. I can't wait to see what they do next, and I can't imagine anyone being disappointed in their stay.
Stayed here on two trips from FL to OH for vacation one in July and one in August.
This camp ground is the best! The owners are extremely nice people and careing. You would be hard pressed to find as much fun going on at any other campground.
Green Acres Is The Place To Be!
This is our second time we stayed at Green Acres Lake Park. We come for our school reunion. The sites are nice and clean. Water, Sewer and Electric are located in the right place. We have been rving for 20 years. They have a super great service (run out of propane at 11pm and they delivered full tank to our trailer). Super entertainment that I have never saw in any other campground, plus they have a chipping area for this old retired golfer. The owners are hard working and good people. Easy access to the highway and just one mile from the Lake Milton (with great fishing). By the way, there is a private 10 acres fishing lake inside the property plus the nicest swimming lake with sandy beach we have ever
We stayed at Green Acres Lake Park and had a wonderful time. The site we stayed was well taken care. The park is nice and cleaned. The bathroom was cleaned. They have a very beautiful swimming lake with a water slide, playground, live music, hayrides, games, kids crafts. Fun, fun, for everyone. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I Highly recommend Green Acres Lake Park
Excellent friendly campground. Lots of amenities and activities for all ages. Beautiful Caribbean like swiming lake (blue water and white sandy beach). The inflatable slide on top of the water is a blast. Every one loves it. Warm reception at the front store, great food at the cafe/restaurant, good and straight gravel roads make it easy to drive through the park. Someone mentioned narrow access road but that was not my feeling. It is a common 2 way road with plenty of room to turn into the park just half mile away from the Interstate. This is a great park with great camping experience.
Stopped for the night when traveling. Seemed like a nice place, the lady checking us in was very friendly and helpful. The only drawback I see is the entry way. Creed road is a narrow two lane road, thank goodness we didn't meet someone coming the other way. It was after dark, and the entry way is not lit up, nor is the sign, almost passed it. The entry way is very narrow and I didn't swig wide enough and side swiped the gate post. Please be careful when pulling onto the entry road. Will keep this on the list for places to spend the night when traveling through the area though.
Wonderful active place to camp. Lots of things for kids to do, wonderful camping experience. Lake to fish and pool to swim, plus a playground. While we were there the two weekends there was DJ or band on Saturday night.
