Wonderful Facilities and staff. The River float is fun for a few times. The ONLY drawback to this campground is that there is really nothing to see or do in the surrounding area. But if your going for an impeccably maintained campground with TONS of kids activities, then your going to the right place!

We have been camping at Buttonwood for several years now with a large group. The staff is EXTREMELY accommodating; if something is not right, they will address it and remedy the situation. The camp store is very nice. There are a lot of activities for the kids. They do have a pool, however the river side of the campground sits right along the banks of the Juniata River. The campground does offer outfitting if you do not have your own equipment. The only drawback is there is not much shade for those without A/C.
