We stayed for a short visit and found the place to be just perfect. It is a CCC US Corps of Engineers site and is a quite park at the end of the road in a remote area. The camp host was very nice and the place is wooded with large sites and appears well maintained. lots of waterfront sites on the Black Warier River and Clear Creek.

Five stars based on a one-night stay (so the review is limited). Park is in a beautiful setting, right on the water. Mostly very quiet until early morning when there was some hooting and hollering going on. Site was level (we had a pull through) with fire ring, picnic table, and water/elec hook up. Easy in and out. Park is a little bit off the beaten path, but is easy to get to by following GPS. Park host was very nice, didn't mind we showed up late, and was helpful with directions to the site. Did not use any of the facilities so I can't rate them. Did pick up several channels on the TV using the antenna. Park is pet friendly (leashed, pick up after); lots of good walking areas. Would love to have been able to spend more time at the park!
