Davis Mountains State Park is an awesome value ($25 a night FHU/w CATV plus $6 a day park entry fee). Nestled right in the mountains it has full hookups and some site have cable TV. The Park has plenty of trails, is close to Fort Davis, and close to McDonald Observatory. Restrooms are plentyful, but older and clean. The sites are pretty level. The only negative (if you call it that) is no cell/data service and the parks WIFI is slow. You can drive/hike to the top of the mountain and have great... Read More

If ever in this area again, I will absolutely stay here. BTW, all other RV Parks I saw in Fort Davis did NOT look appealing.
