Just got here today and am truly impressed. Perfectly level back in campsite with five star hookups. Place has been rebuilt with future storms in mind. Concrete pads and driveways. Electric towers can be quickly removed before a storm and brought back on line quickly. We are here a week after the furious winter storm Texas got last week, and its like it never happened. Hurricane Harvey wiped this place out a couple of years ago and there is still some work to be done. It is great camping near the beach, but not on the beach, so it is safer. We were planning on boondocking on PINS, but lack of cell and wifi meant we had to be here. Its behind the dunes, no trees and no other shelter from the wind in a storm. But it is a beautiful campground. We are on the back row, furthest from the beach, but its still only a short walk to the beach.
