This is one of the two campgrounds in Glacier Natl Park that will take reservations. It is what you would expect of a Natl Park. We have a 36ft class A and had no trouble getting into a site and negotiating the campground. Have a nice new dump station. The location is excellent, right on Going to the Sun Road and you can make it an easy day trip to Many Glacier and Two Medicine. It makes it easy to explore the eastern side of Glacier. The location is excellent, right on Going to the Sun Road and you can make it an easy day trip to Many Glacier and Two Medicine. It makes it easy to explore the eastern side of Glacier. The scenery within the park is not great and the sites are a mixture of shaded and full sun. The river is within walking distance. Restrooms were clean and the host and rangers couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Go to the visitor center when you first arrive to plan out your stay. We spent 4 nights here which allowed us two days on the eastern side of Logan summit to take a boat ride, hike to the falls, etc. Definitely make a trip to both Many Glacier and Two Medicine. Hiking in those locations and the scenery was outstanding.
