This is a wonderful campground in a great location. I plan on returning as soon as possible. Heed the directions given on their website if your rig is anything but small and coming from the southwest on 74.

Excellent stay! Amazing customer service and exceptionally clean and updated campground. Great value and experience. Hands down the best campground in Western North Carolina! Owners and staff are very friendly and take pride in their campground and making sure you have the best experience possible. Great for couples, families, friends, and even groups.

Stayed a week it was quiet, clean and very beautiful. Very close to the Blue Ridge parkway. Owners are on site helpful and friendly. WiFi network in the park would be nice but I'd skip it to stay here again!

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful camp ground while I was attending a weeklong K-9 training seminar at Western Carolina University. I have camped all my life and I think this was the most beautiful and well maintained campgrounds that I have ever stayed at. A friend of mine doesn't camp, and stayed at a motel, but came out to the campground one evening after class and has decided to bring his wife next year and stay in one of the cabins. We will be going back when we attend the advanced training... Read More

What a unique campground! The creek is beautiful and peaceful and runs the entire length of campground. Most all sites are shaded. The staff and owners are always very helpful and friendly and very proud of the facilities. Don't back into your spot without their help or you may wind up in the creek! Newly renovated bathrooms with laundry are cleaned a minimum of three times a day. The map displayed here is inacurrate and you should seek perfect directions from their website. Be prepared to... Be prepared to drive down a remote, winding road - but well worth the trip. They have lovely little cottages, rustic camping cabins, pleanty of firewood and ice. The town of Waynesville is a short drive and simply charming! Blue Ridge Parkway is only a couple miles away and easy to get to from the campground. Large RV's must navigate slowly, but definately can make it into and around the campground. You'll need to unhitch your toad at the office before parking. They have cable TV and limited WIFI, but hey, you're on vacation! If you're looking for peace and quite, thick woods and a creek, this is the place for you. If you're heading to the NC mountains to view the leaves, make sure you call for reservations. They book up quick! Bikers are welcome as well as tenters. Well behaved dogs allowed. "Beware of the cat" on site 19! (That's us...)

A really great campground. Wonderful stream just next to the campsite, you can't help but relax. Little tight for large motorhome but very doable. The good Sam map is way off about 10 miles, wrong valley but written directions are good.
