We stayed for two nights with our grandchildren. I was very disappointed in the facility especially after it was so highly rated by Good Sam's. The new pool is nice, but the rest of the amenities were either in poor condition or closed. The sites are some of the tiniest I have ever seen. There wasn't even room to set up chairs outside of the camper. I would not recommend staying here. Looks much better on the website than it is!

The mini-golf was a so broken down as to be unusable, the bounce pillow wasn't working. The 'pond' disgusting. Our site was basically just a dirt/gravel lot and it was very very small. The 'transient' sites are off on the side near the dumpsters (but close to the pool). With the terrain and the sewer pipe extension, our coach wouldn't drain...even with the jacks fully extended. This place is probably 95% seasonal. You can tell that it used to be a KOA and was probably pretty nice once upon a time...but not any more. We were supposed to stay 4 nights but we left after just one. The staff wasn't around when we left at 10AM so we left a note and then a VM. I called them two weeks later looking for some sort of refund/resolution. They had no idea what I was talking about. They're claiming some policy that doesn't exist from what I can tell. Worst staff ever! I'm skeptical that we'll get a refund of any sort.

Staff not friendly, had a reverse polarity (or faulty ground wire) at our site, maintenance unable to understand problem so had to plug in at next site. Many seasonals but they were friendly and quiet. They kept their sites looking well. Many activities for kids.

One site was so small could not get awning out all the way out. Last year's brochure is the same as this year and says it has a new swimming pool. We were told by staff the pool has never been opened (when I spoke with owner he said it opened last year after Labor Day).. The pump was broke and that was the reason the pool was not available this past weekend. The restroom in our section was an outhouse, not clean at all!! Staff is rude! It is so unfortunate the campground is run so poorly, the campground has allot of potential. The park was not full at all, so that tells you something, campers are not returning due to the lack of care and staff and owner not taking any responsibilities . Our group will not be returning! They need to maintain the park, reduce the amount of sites to make all the sites accommodating. Also, two sites had picnic tables that were a safety hazard, replace the darn things, for heaven sakes! It could be such a nice place, apparently the owner does not care. Good Sam needs to pay a visit.

She obviously doesn't enjoy what she does for a living. The site we reserved was given to someone else because they didn't like the plugin and arrived the day before us. Coffee shop- a coffee maker and a coffee machine that was available in the site office but after 10am. Game room- when you walk into this place it immediately takes your breath away. This is from the odor of mold and mildew. None of the games claimed were actually functioning. I wasn't there with the intent to hang out in the game room but it would have been nice to take the kids for something to do. Ice cream shop- a small freezer of 4 different types of ice cream which is located in the park office too. So you get ice cream at the leisure of the unfriendly office staff. Pool- not open and the size of my backyard pool but for a 1000 people. Swim pond- it was disgusting to put it nicely. There were approximately 10000 tadpoles in it and made it impossible to get the kids to go in to swim. Bathrooms- Good Sam's list these at 10*. This is just ridiculous. Again I can't begin to tell you how crappy these facilities were. The shower that wouldn't drain and filled up with the soap scum, hair and all the other disgusting things everyone before you left. We won't talk about the toilets, floors and sinks. The biggest problem with the place besides all the things listed above was the female staff member. When she wasn't treating you like crap she was walking around screaming at kids and embarrassing people at the entry gate. Overall this place stinks. I would give up camping before going back to this place. Good Sam's should be embarrassed to have made the rating claims it gave this place and has me reconsidering my membership because of it.
