This park is beautifully landscaped and beautiful. The dog park is nice and big and has shade. The store is nicely stocked and the staff is wonderful. The laundry is a nice size and clean as is the bath and shower area. The only drawback is there was nor air and it didn't feel like there was adequate venting.

Sunday Morning, Another sleepless night. If you like the sound of train horns ALL NIGHT LONG.....This place is for you. I'm talking LOUD too. Also, they say they have "Cable TV", what they have is OTA TV from an antenna and they send it thru a cable to your site. Turns out I have a better signal just using my antenna. Very limited stations. Other than that it's 4 stars. Friendly folks run it well. You've been warned. I will NEVER believe another Good Sam rating again.

We found the grounds and sites to be maintained and pretty. By mid - week, we found the manager to be unhelpful and rigid in rules and policies. Apparently, that was not the case. It is just the timer starting. This was not realized until 30 minutes had passed. When the manager was approached about getting money back... Read More

Apparently, that was not the case. It is just the timer starting. This was not realized until 30 minutes had passed. When the manager was approached about getting money back to actually dry the clothes, I were rudely told it is not their fault, not their problem, not their policy They also said "it happens all the time." If that is so, why not post signs around the laundry room or change the machines? I observed my answer - while I was in the laundry room, it happened to 3 more people. They are making money on those machines.

Location is everything in this park, and the rating reflects our experience and our site. First the good stuff: The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The office/store is clean, well stocked with RV supplies, some groceries, and lots of information about the area. There is a trail outside the park that leads to the river and a community park, making for a nice walk. The sites from the entrance to the office are the nicer sites -- well kept, bigger with more space, grass and landscaping in between, and a few premium corner sites for bigger rigs. Good wi-fi and satellite TV. Close to Glacier NP. We did not use the bathrooms or laundry facilities. The not-so-good: The sites at the back of the park behind the office are more crowded, with little landscaping and are not as well kept. Our site was a back-in site located at the back of the park, up against a fence, near the exit road. It was also probably the least desirable site in that row (site 37). Our neighbor's hookups were immediately outside our door with little space between the sites. They offered us a picnic table, but there was no room for one. We were escorted to our site and were directed through another site in order to get to ours due to the narrow road and several parked vehicles. The sites are short, so most had vehicles parked across the front. There were also large rocks placed at the end of each site, making backing in more challenging. Dogs are only allowed to do their business in the dog park, which is located at the very front of the park. There are only a few tent sites (it appears they are being phased out for cabins), which are located immediately off the exit road, small, all gravel, no grass, with only a partial fence providing little privacy from traffic, and a large security light overhead. Would definitely recommend booking a site at the front of the park, if you plan to stay here.

Beautiful RV Park - Only one BIG negative is the Road and Train Noise.

We stayed here to visit Glacier NP and it's a very good location for that. The grounds are very nice and the sites are long, but close together. They put us in the last row next to the Hwy (-) but close to the dog park (+). We appreciate a park with rules, but there were signs posted everywhere telling what to do or what not to do. They obviously felt the need to do that otherwise rules would be ignored. No pool. Not extremely friendly.

If you are going to Glacier NP this is a great place to stay very clean and well kept. I would love to go again.

Trust their ad about a cancellation fee. Our trip through Kalispell on 6/28 was not a vacation, but a trip to a funeral for my mother in WA. Our rig is 24 feet so we were jammed into a back-in site with close neighbors. But we were tired and went right to sleep with the A/C running. We didn't use the restroom facility. We even bought a sewer hose connector to the ground from them because we forgot to bring one due to our quick departure. Even so, we scheduled a return visit for 6 July for our return... Read More

Our rig is 24 feet so we were jammed into a back-in site with close neighbors. But we were tired and went right to sleep with the A/C running. We didn't use the restroom facility. We even bought a sewer hose connector to the ground from them because we forgot to bring one due to our quick departure. Even so, we scheduled a return visit for 6 July for our return trip home. The next night we camped in another GS RV park in Republic WA, when our slideout got stuck out and blew out our DC power. It took a extra day before we could get on the road to complete our trip. I called Columbia Falls RV Park and told them I had to cancel our night of 6 July because of a schedule change due to our problem, plenty of time for them to fill the 6 July night we had previously scheduled. The ironic thing was how incredibly helpful the GS Park (Winchester) was in Republic with our problem. So, being charged that cancellation fee was a little like getting kicked while I was down. Our return trip through busy, crowded Columbia Falls on 6 July certainly proved there was no lack of customers for fill the site with one week's cancellation notice. We won't return to that park, and we live in Montana, frequently visiting that area.

This has to be one of the cleanest camp grounds we have ever stayed. Very large roads gave room for our 40 footer and a toad to park easily. Park is very well maintained enjoyed the GREEN GRASS between the sites. Quiet and peaceful that I didn't use my outdoor tv because I didn't want to be "the one" that could disturb others. Friendly staff and has shop to purchase the "forgotten" items or just to replenish toilet Chem that has run out. 50 and 30 at each site. Water pressure more than enough sewer... Read More

Columbia Falls RV Columbia Falls Mt This facility is about 12 miles from Glacier Nat Park. Last fall we stayed in close to Kalispell. But decided rather than travel back and forth to Kalispell we would stay closer to the west entrance. Very clean facility Well run. Clean / level sites. Booked up most the time. An excellent butcher shop right around the corner. Clean Bathrooms and shower.

We spent two nights in this park and enjoyed it! Staff was friendly and helpful, even had advice about Glacier NP. Sites are wide and long, no problem for our 37ft TT and truck. Sites are clean with gravel with grass spaces. Good wifi and cable. Would definitely stay here again. Didn't use restrooms or laundry.

This has to be one of the cleanest camp grounds we have ever stayed. Very large roads gave room for our 37 footer and a dingy with space to spare for a visitor to park if needed. Actually watched a 44 bus with 20 foot dingy move around the park without any difficulties or close calls. Park is very well maintained our four legged friend enjoyed the GREEN GRASS between the sites. If you know Montana you know that is hard to find in September. Park is very well maintained our four legged friend enjoyed the GREEN GRASS between the sites. If you know Montana you know that is hard to find in September. Speaking of 4 legged kids just outside the rear exit is a walking path to the Riverside park, helped keep the energy low in our little terrier. Leash is a law in this county, so keep one handy. Quiet and peaceful that I didn't use my outdoor tv because I didn't want to be "the one" that could disturb others. Friendly staff and of course discounts. Has shop to purchase the "forgotten" items or just to replenish toilet Chem that has run out. Didn't use facilities but from exterior looked secure and clean. Lots of rules to follow and when everyone follows them it creates a very pleasant stay. 50 and 30 at each site. Water pressure more than enough to get your hair rinsed. Sewer elbows are the law so no unpleasant smells for others. If you don't have one, yep they sell them. Concidering how close to hwy it is we slept like babies even with the windows open. We paid 40 bucks a night with full hook ups and the GS discount. I am sure a little higher prior to labor day. Well worth the cash, and a very pleasant stay. Glacier National park is a short drive and grocery stores and restaurants are just 5 minutes away. Lots of things to do for kids and adults just around any corner as the tourist traps are everywhere. Plan a few days if you want to see and do everything. Hope this helps and happy RVing! !!!!!!!

Disappointed !!! Choose this park for the 2 dog runs; there was only one and it was right next to Hwy 2 - very loud, my 2 dogs were very uncomfortable and would no go potty there; was told the other run was taken out to add more sites. Sites very close - my door opened to within 4 feet of neighbors sewer line. Beautifully landscaped and well maintained, but at $44 per night w/ Good Sam, I was expecting a little more space between sites. Stayed 3 nights. Wifi was horrible - my site was about 150... Having arrived at Glacier Park too late to find a campsite, we backtracked to Columbia Falls. They were very good at accomodating a late arrival, and then we asked for an extra day, all in peak season. Facility was very well kept including groceries, ice etc. The only reason for a non 5 star is that they close the restrooms at 10 pm due to owners living above restroom area. We highly recommend this park.

We spent 2 nights at this RV park and it was a pleasant experience, the grounds are neat and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Very cool local butcher shop right down the road had lots of goodies, too. Will stay here again for sure if we find ourselves back in that part of the country!

Stayed two nights at a campground super close to west entry to the park. BAD idea!!! Drove back reviewing locations within close proximity and found Columbia Falls. Could have had a couple of toads behind for the length of space. Sites and roadway are "clean" small rock/gravel. Space between sites was GREEN grass... Read More

Easy entry/exit. Restrooms were large and spotless. Staff was friendly and professional. This campground IS NOT a KOA. I didn't see playground equipment and most of the occupants were older folks. The peace and quiet, even tho located right on the highway to West Glacier and a good distance away from trains, was so very much appreciated. Washing rig acceptable with an $8.00 "water fee" at your site for those wanting to cleanup your ride. Very CLEAN campground and yes, we will be back for sure
