Amazing state park. Stayed here passing back home from Florida and would have loved to stayed longer. The park is actually run by a larger resort that is on the property and you have full use of amenities at the resort. They rent boats and jet ski's and have a small beach setup on the lake. They have old tanks and war planes near the front if you are a history buff and also have Archery and BB Gun range if you wish. It was so much fun we might just travel back down as a destination instead of a pit stop through.

Easily reserved our 1 night stay on line two weeks before arriving. Quickly checked in at the park office and were handed a tag to place on our site to indicate it was occupied for date of stay, advised to pick a site that did not have a tag, given a tag for the coach, and directions to the campground. We chase a back-in site by the lake. It was clean, level, tidy, and all connections were easily accessible. The restroom was a short walk away, clean, well ventilated, well lit and we did not experience any waiting. The park has lots of room to walk about, ride bikes, float your boat, or enjoy the military planes, guns and tanks.
